Another Dud Contest

I think back to the days when these contests used to be somewhat worth the effort. Now they’re just not. Swedish Chef chips top progress reward for what? The fifth week in a row? We really need a boost in the contests especially with the debut of the yellow tier.

It unfortunately brings me to the question finally: Can PerBlue turn this thing around?

I’m legitimately asking. It seems it’s been in a free fall lately and I absolutely love this game. I want it to succeed, but things are BAD in the state of this game right now. The contests are the bread and butter for basically all players. The resources are essential and are actually part of the quality of life in this game. Some depend on them. 44k badge bazaar tokens isn’t hardly enough to craft any badges above red. Yet here we sit with a new tier this week. Which I understand is done through a different method of advancement, but we still have people struggling to make it to R19. One has to happen before the other.

I hope PerBlue turns it around.

Funnily enough, this contest has very great rewards compared to other contests. I do agree that giving Swedish Chef chips for reaching the top is getting repetitive though, so I think PB should add some consumables as a reward for reaching the final tier. I’m talking double normal/elite campaign bags, double hero xp drops, double gold drops, etc.

I think no, for F2P player, they even not max Chef yet… they still need him, except whales…

This is true for everyone I think, cause you can’t get his chips anywhere else than in progress rewards of contests (please correct if wrong).

But even more important to counter the case that it is a “dud contest” is that the badges that were given are extremely good, at least those in S21. Those were badges for R7 rank (which is the max at the moment for S21)
