That’s not server depended, new toons are just much better.

Yes most of the new ones are OP, but old doesn’t mean bad. And a lot is server dependent. And for the record, I’m on server 21 and there’s a very respected rating list posted in another thread and both Bogo and Merida are rated as A–well balanced as of mid June.
I bring up characters I like. Therefore I have over 100 rather weak than avarage ones but I’m happy with them.

Emperer Zurg/Nick for red chips farming!!
K&V/Rapunzel as support
Dash ( his red is crazy!! ) for damage
Bogo/Hercules for immortal tanker
Gaston for control
Another one off ur list is Winnie th Pooh. Tank/control/damage at the same time!! Save u alot of resources
