You could start by checking your internet connection, as this failure usually points towards that.
However, if if is something else, you have to have a lot of patience, as PB just went with their winter break:

Nope internet is not the problem…
Yet its just the 18th?!? Have they advanced their dates?
I think it’s downloading something? There was a 500 mb update recently, maybe you don’t have enough space?
