Are friendship campaigns too hard?

I’ve been playing this game since its early days and I cant help but feel like even though I am getting more powerful, the friendship campaigns keep getting harder and some even feel impossible. I’ve been stuck on quite a few campaigns and its frustrating because my heroes aren’t weak. I dont feel like every character should have to be maxed out just to get a friend disk. Friend campaigns used to feel fun and exciting and now it feels like a chore. I hate to be negative, but this has really hurt my experience.

Yes they’re extremely hard. Can’t get past Mr.I in joy olaf campaign specially since he has been buffed in recent update. Pb says not every character should be upgraded but I don’t feel so.

I personally don’t think they all are too hard but I mist agree that it’s unrealistic how high they expect you to have every character upgraded for the purposes of Friendships.

We definitely need a friendship nerf at least for the ones released pre Red. I understand if they want to keep some of the more recent ones at current dufficulty but the last friendship nerf was a looong time ago and we are due another one.

Wayyyy to hard, especially Joy-Olaf disk

Some are extremely hard, with Joy/Olaf being the hardest one. But there are also some easy ones, like Bo’s and Pan’s.

From player forum comment observation here, the Joy/Olaf disk is an infamous one for it’s hard-as-flip difficulty. But, I don’t believe all of the current friendship campaigns are hard.

I definitely wouldn’t say that they’re all too hard. Some I breeze right through, I just feel like I’ve seen a general increase in difficulty as time has gone on. I DREAD when I see characters like Shank show up, especially in campaigns where my characters aren’t damage role. It just feels like some of these campaigns are far too hard. I know they’ve nerfed some in the past. Is it time to think about doing that again?

I think that a part of the issue is that they raise their purple and blue skills to the same level as their current hero level, which is not even possible. And they refuse to let you choose your companions outside of the friend, which usually has no bearing on the storyline at all, so not sure why not. If they tweaked even one of these things, it might not be quite as bad. Letting us pick a 3rd, 4th and 5th would be very helpful and they can still toss in a recommendation for the person for people that wants to have a “challenge” still. As it stands, enemies like Shank are basically invincible to normal damage with that insanely jacked up armor rating and, depending on the team comp, can be very frustrating to beat. Among other annoying opponents…

While I enjoy the storylines of friend campaigns, I get so frustrated by their difficulty that those things mean nothing to me! I mean, how can I enjoy them if it took me 20 or even more times to get pass 1 single battle!!!

They can select the friend, sure. But the “helps” they give us, has nothing to do with the storylines and sometimes, have nothing in common with each other.

Enemy’s level is way too high (if you reach the last chapter, normally enemies would be at least 10 levels above of unlocking-level requirement - while usually, the requirement is set at max level when new heroes are introduced). Enemy’s rarity is too high, their skill levels are always the same as their levels and their combination is just crazy, as they would explore our heroes’ weakness

Like when I did Olaf-Joy’s campaign, I had face so many enemies that can knock back, making Olaf very hard to do high damage with his Moana disc… or even worse, enemies have immunity… what a great counter for a freeze tank, dont you think?

We don’t need to have all heroes maxed but we should have any random heroes they choose for us, maxed. Isn’t it time to test our luck?

I’m working on Woody and Duke’s campaign right now and I’m SO frustrated. They keep giving me Shank as an enemy, who is basically unbeatable. The worst part is that she has her red skill, which isnt even in the game yet!

Everything is extremely hard now the friendship fights the invasions the city watch etc

A lot of campaigns are now highly unbalanced because they were built with enemies that had 4 skills. Once Red skills were added, many of those enemies got far tougher to beat. Sally is a prime example. She does an absurd amount of damage in friend campaigns.

The new friendships are way to hard, you have Red+ heroes and can’t get through the first few fights.

I definitely agree on the added difficulty with the introduction of red skills. These definitely need to be re-balanced to account for the new skills, that you probably can’t take advantage of yourself for a while. Either these enemies need to not have them active in friend campaigns or the campaigns need to be tweaked a bit in terms of enemy team comps and/or levels.

At least remove the red skill from enemy. I am playing hook and Barb and pan’s campaign. Elsa and Sally won’t let me pass. Hook just stands at 1 place and Barb is backline dmg hero. Elsa’s control skill is making it hard for him to dmg and Sally keeps taking whatever he threws at her. Both my heroes are red. It looks quite impossible rn.

I’m stuck on the Rapunzel and Jasmine one. Getting past Bo Peep and Maui in the second level is bad enough, but then I have to face ANOTHER Bo Peep, Robin Hood, and freakin’ DARKWING DUCK! Come on, man! It’s only the second level in the first chapter! Give me a freakin’ break!

Don’t revive old topics.

This topic is still relevant so it’s perfectly fine to do that
