The issue is that when every badge for every hero for every rank is crafted from the exact same very small collection of badge bits, the majority of the other ones that are never used get forgotten about 
I would say that is more of an issue of new and new bits or badges coming in the same numbers.
It is different to keep up with like 50-100 badge designs when the game started with Blue+2 and Purple Ranks… and now that we are 5+9+20+17 aka 51 ranks ahead.
There is whopping 1050+ badge designs in the game now. When I started playing there were 39 ranks less (3 years ago) and thus we only had around 300 around.
*Each rank has 20 badge designs.

I wanted to say it. Chapter 35 is obviously Red+14. Chapter 21 is Red(+0). Chapter 41 is Yellow(+0).
This makes sense now since my personal account isn’t to red yet.

Well I sort of think that one set of TR designs was split between many ranks.
I actually read up about the fact that the Super Duper Glue badge was actually a reference to Home Improvement. I’m not even joking. The Disney Heroes wiki page on Badges said so. I know Home Improvement was a Disney show made for ABC, making it the only live action ABC show referenced in Disney Heroes. I wonder if Tim Allen played this game, since Buzz is in this game and there’s a Home Improvement reference.
