How many types of contest are there and what should i be keeping on me for them?

Hoarding. By not spending stamina, diamonds, tokens, etc. as soon as you receive them you put yourself in a better position for future contests.
There are 4 major types that tend to be on rotation:
- Fortify the Network (Spending Diamonds and stamina, sometimes other things but not usually)
- City Watch/Surge Contests (Using certain characters in CW/Surge fights or simply doing fights in those modes. Note: Raiding doesn’t count)
- Guild Contest (Usually involves finding badge bits or doing guild related activities, surge, guild coins, etc.)
- Server Contest (Everyone helps each other here. These are rare and you can’t really predict what they will involve)

A good way to prepare for a contest is to hoard resources since they are many types of contests such as clearing infected areas, using gold, using various shop coins. There are also guild contests every 3 weeks so it is best to talk to your guild for help and preparing.
