No. It’s true we’ve used it in the past, but the DHBM Community is huge. Trying to moderate that many people and keep track of everything would be too much to take on. Sorry!

Wonderful question! There have been some challenges on designing Heroes, however, taking on those challenges proved to be an amazing experience and seeing players enjoy those Heroes really made it even more awesome! As a designer, taking on challenges is one of the many incredibly fun tasks to embark on!
As for who the funniest Hero to design was, I’d have to say Pegasus would take the crown! He has such a fun, joyful personality! He, like all of the other Heroes, was an incredibly wonderful experience to design!
Also any consideration for this topic made yesterday?
@TheGrillFather A hard pick… would it be possible to delete Raid Tickets altogether and just offer something else in VIP 3 instead.
Additionally… I am playing another game that has a similar system as VIP (Called Mastery here) but the points for it can be gathered by getting to a certain player level or clearing a campaign chapter.
Would it be possible to consider something along these lines for DHBM?
The hero pipeline is long from conception to development to having the character in the game! All heroes are planned in a roadmap ahead of time!

Hi Winterbotton, thank you for the questions! I really appreciate that you put out all of your thoughts and questions. Here’s the answers I’ve got for you:

Subclasses is one of the components we added into Emerald rank to try and contribute to getting heroes to be more leveled out in terms of their strength relative to other heroes. Essentially, we wanted heroes to be able to be more competitive, rather than the weakest heroes getting blown out of the water by the strongest heroes. After player feedback, we’ve revised the tier system to only boost Emerald stats for all heroes, but this does not necessarily offer a solution to weaker heroes getting blasted by stronger heroes. Every hero is a lot stronger when they hit Emerald, but we’re now currently in the works of adding more mechanisms to try and bridge that gap without making the stronger heroes weaker. Several ways we might do this might be to revitalize the tier system differently, to give weaker heroes more stat slot choices so they can get more boosts, or other ideas that we may brainstorm naturally as we continue to update and revise the Emerald feature as a whole. We’re always open to feedback on potential solutions and adjustments that you (and all players) think would be a great addition.

This is a great question and I’m glad you brought it up. We’ve noticed that there are multiple screens that suffer from this scrolling (or even lagging) issue and have made strides to try and fix these issues. We, the developers, realized the issue is a bit more involved unfortunately, but rest assured that we are working on this. The main challenge is that we are struggling to reproduce the issue that players are experiencing, which makes finding a solution challenging since we are struggling to see the issue visually and therefore cannot ensure our changes are making the proper fix (ie: the problem going away when we change things). However, with regards to the subclass window screen itself, we have made and will send out a submission change in the coming release (Tuesday of next week) that should remove that scrolling issue off the subclass screen itself.
Please bear with us as we try to twiddle around with the scrolling issue, we know that it’s a big issue for players. We hear you and we want to make things easier for you guys, it just takes time to fix these issues, especially when we cannot seem to reproduce the issues consistently enough. We will keep working on it and try to keep you all informed along the way! Thank you so much for this question. We want to make the game easy to use and accessible to all, so we are excited to keep working on these issues and help out the players!
We can take a look at that, but again no promises for this year! Our short term fix are discounts in different shops (big resource changes like these do take a lot of time, and we have a lot of QoL changes coming after Emerald!)
If moderation specifically is an option then appointing respected community members as moderators is an idea, I know Disney Sorcerer’s Arena does this.
That said, I understand if too much so I respect that, just want to bring forth the option if such an idea could help out :-).

Like if you have several low ranked heroes you want to rank up you could just select them all and and choose what rank you want all of them to go to?

Mainly the relative part, I don’t think it’s good if a $20 purchase makes the progress x100.
We usually leave hints for future heroes in the patch notes. Some times it’s in the file names like the Tiana teaser from earlier in the year, or in the finer details of what is going out in an update.
