No, Demona is the bad guy and if she has it then it is already in the wrong hands (I think that’s what they meant)

Its probably intentional, because whoever writes the friendship stories put a whole statment about her fearing it going into the wrong hands, and why would she be scared if it was in her hands???
(I know this probably isint very clear but idk how to explain it well)
