HDL aren’t protected as Quorra/Aladdin/Baymax.
During their skateboard entrace they can be killed (like in invasion; by boss) 
True. But they’re literally on the other side of the screen. They shouldn’t have been hit by Aladdin

Same with Peter Pan. If a hero moves across the screen while being attacked by “Air Parry”, they are still being delt damage. I don’t know if it is still like this though.

And now… finally… this pain is over.
They kept getting killed by Aladdin, but they somehow dodged the hit once Gaston survived. How weird.
Also, fighting Beast 6 times in the last 10 levels was NOT fun

Overflow? It seems he is hitting off the edge off the screen, depending on how the game is programed, and how damage is processed, it is possible Aladdin hitting off the edge of the screen made it to where the damage was being processed on the other side of the screen, due to the screen “overflowing” to the other side. Thus HDL were in range to be hit and, got hit, being dealt the damage.
That is bad glitch to have, overflow in many forms is one of the oldest glitches in the book.
