After somewhere around 3-4 months in the dumpster fire we call Plat I, I finally promoted to Challengers. This after several weeks of being online almost constantly to hold my position in first from everyone else.
Just yesterday I noticed that someone who had taken first only a couple of hours earlier had dropped all the way to 33rd place in an Arena with 35 people. Competition was tight, which was pretty miserable.
…Cut to Challengers being even worse. Nearly everyone is a whale. Six stars everywhere, and almost everyone is at the cap (130 on S19). The lowest person other than me is still 6 levels ahead. As the screenshot shows, I was only able to beat a Yax user and even he’s doing better than me. This isn’t fun. This is incredibly frustrating, especially because most of these guys have absolutely crap teams that I would easily beat without the level gap in the way. I would rather go back to Plat I than have to deal with this.
PB NEEDS to slow down the cap raises, this is forcing players into spending if they want to be competitive.
The cosmetic crates from the contest weren’t much comfort. I don’t even like Gaston…
