Fun Fact: Louis Armstrong was condidered to be King Louie. But, you can probably guess why he didn’t get the part.

Another character who was offered a few roles was Mel Blanc, the voice actor for Bugs Bunny. He was going to play Dopey, but then he got muted. Next he was going to play Gideon, and then Gideon became a mute.
No way! That is crazy. I think Disney almost always chooses the right people for voices for different characters.
They could just hire Jum Cummings to be every character in a movie and nobody would notice.
