In my opinion, YES TO A CAPE. Wearing a cape denotes flying. And I would love to fly with my cape streaming behind me in the wind.
In the case of Batman he can’t fly but the original Bat Man aka Dracula transformed from a Bat into a man could fly. I think that’s why they have a cape.

Cape or flying, you have to choose. Unless you share Syndrome’s fate.
If I did have a “cape” it would be more accurate to call it a cloak, and I would use it to conceal my hands. That way no one could tell if I am about to fight, pull out a gun, etc.
But as for capes, NO CAPES!
