Like seeing into the future? The question is base on Thatâs So Raven and Kim Possible.
Oh, I thought that is what you meantâŠI would not like that, as I have seen in all too many movies, whenever you see into the future, that future will happen, and there is nothing you can do to stop itâŠ
One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid itâŠ

Like in appointment in samarra (I saw it in the BBC tv series Sherlock)
The merchant sees a deathly figure who looked surprised to see him in the market, so he runs to samarra (I think thatâs what it was called) and meets the deathly figure again, so the merchant says can I ask one question âwhy when I saw you in the market did you look surprised?â So the deathly figure replied âI was surprised because I had an appointment with you tonight in samarraâ
So the moral of the story is like you said
Found it, you learn something new everyday! Enjoy
There was once a merchant in the famous market at Baghdad. One day he saw a stranger looking at him in surprise, and he knew that the stranger was Death. Pale and trembling, the merchant fled the marketplace and made his way many-many miles to the city of Samarra. For there he was sure that Death could not find him. But when, at last, he came to Samarra, the merchant saw waiting for him the drim figure of Death. âVery well,â said the merchant. âI give in. I am yours. But tell me, why did you look surprised when you saw me this morning in Baghdad?â âBecause,â said Death, âI had an appointment with you tonight⊠in Samarra.â
