At this point Iâm convinced that Disney is desperate
Yeah and theyâre literary escalating Frozen because itâs a fan favorite franchise to a lot of people
And disliked by a lot people tooâŠ
0 creativity. So lazyâŠ
But we havenât had the third one yet. How can they have a fourth one if they havenât the third one is not even released yet?
Exactly! The third one hasnât even released yet and theyâre already planning on make a fourth one
Ridiculous.
âŠokay, if itâs true, this is funny. I mean, what we even have about the third movie? The fact that it will exist at some point of time. Thatâs it. And then that drops. Okay, the announce made itâs purpose, people discuss it. But if they do the fourth movie it will be out inâŠwhen? Five years? More? Why announcing stuff so early if anything can change. The last five years shows us that Hollywood system is pretty fragile and suffers a lot from unexpected changes.
Hereâs the actual quote from Bob Iger:
Frozen 3 is in the works, and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works, too. But I donât have much to say about those films right now. But Jenn Lee, who created Frozen , the original Frozen and Frozen 2 , is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories.
Even Iger himself, during the supposed announcement, said âthere might be a Frozen 4â. So, yeah, I think what @Turned_To_Sin says, about how things could change between now and whenever this potential Frozen 4: Absolute Zero might come out, is spot on.
Exactly that this is too much about Frozen in fact ever since the first movie came out back in 2013, Frozen starting to be the popular Disney movie and they be showing it everyday on Disney Channel in fact theyâre gonna show it tomorrow on Disney Channel and they did show it on Saturday on Disney Junior. My point is, they gotta take a break from Frozen sure the fans may be happy about it but like I said its too much
Iâm one of these people that donât like Frozen no offense
Frozen is okay, nothing really to sneeze at. The character are good, the plot is good, and the songs are good. It wasnât a world wide phenomenon for nothing.
The main problem is overexposure. Very similar to like Toy Story Marvel, and Star Wars, Frozen is seen all over the place. You can go five seconds without seeing something Frozen from TV specials, theme parks, toys, books etc. Itâs only a matter a time before they have their own TV show. But, one canât really bellyache too much. I mean, franchises like that is what keeps the wheels greased and the bills payed.
But, all business aside, letâs hope Jody is right and the third installment of frozen is the last so as to not run it dry.
Well to be completely fair, if you donât like Frozen (Because âitâs too popular â), then this should be non news. Just donât watch it.
As for the people actually interested and concerned with the quality of another film, Iâd say the announcement of Frozen 4 is actually more promising than that of Frozen 3.
Because Frozen 3âs announcement certainly made it sound like Disney just needed cash and looked to its biggest moneymakers. But Frozen 4 being announced so early means something in the development process of Frozen 3 is warranting a fourth film, be it that they canât fit everything they want in one film or simply Frozen 3 is opening the door to a new story idea that the creators are excited about.
So from less of a pessimist, and someone who actually has a reason to care about another film being announced, I say itâs a positive sign.
And a Frozen fan to boot.
So youâre saying like a two parter like Deathly Hollows and Across the Spider-Verse?
Blast, you know my dark secret!
Lol, but yes, thatâs what I meant by having a reason to care
It would make sense, especially considering the wording âthere might be a Frozen 4â, like they are trying to develop a story and best decide the format for it.
Donât give me coyote vs. acme flashbacks⊠or any âupcomingâ Star Wars or dc movie flashbacks
If thatâs the case, I can think of one theory on how they go about this:
Elsa and Anna are not just spirits but bear with me here:
Demi-goddesses
Yay, you heard me right. Anna and Elsa could be part-Aesir (that what the Norse call their gods). Think about it. Anna and Elsa had their freezing slower than a normal person. Some might say itâs a divine threshold (I could be wrong though).
Anyway, I think I can figure the premise in the nutshell
Part 1: The frozen gang goes to Asgard to meet the Aesirs and are informed of Ragnarok: the fall of Asgard and are trying to prepare to prevent all while dealing with the schemes of Loki and his followers.
Part 2: Ragnarok is upon them as Loki sets his sights on Arendelle and the Enchanted Forest to join as collateral damage of this cataclysmic event. Anna and Elsa must face down the god of mischief to save their kingdoms and the world.
(Bonus points if Thor, Odin, Loki and Heimdall are played are played by Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba)
On a side note, if they are doing a two parter, it would be underwhelming. I was just thinking that a two parter would be something more⊠ambitious.
I guess thatâs an interesting theory, but definitely not something they would do.
What Iâm most interested in is how the new films will repair the ending of Frozen II, which I did not like lol.
I know what youâre thinking
âYou want Frozen to cross over with Marvelâs Thor? Thatâs a horrible idea.â
Donât worry, they would not use Marvel rendition of the Norse pantheon. They would put there own Disney twist on the more traditional stories.
But while I brought the MCU and theyâre in the Multiverse saga.
I see what youâre saying, but I still think they wouldnât go down that road, not just because itâs already very closely associated with Marvel, but also because the Frozen universe is already based on Scandinavian folklore. Plus their lineage was already established in the second film.
Thatâs what Warner Bros Discovery be doing in fact Warner Bros was good until Discovery teamed up with them
