The French is a very complicated language with tons of grammar rules and exception for each. Most of French people make a lot of spelling mistakes. So I understand non-french people make some.
Well my problem is more with lack of vocabulary. I’ve had some French in school, but most words are not ready to use for speaking or writing. With some effort reading might succeed, if not too hard of a text.
But there are words I will never forget: like Foyer des Jeunes, which was one of the first words we learned in our French classes. (It came from a whole story in our books, arround a guy called Aziz and his gang at the youth centre)
It’s the Leaning Tower of Cheeza.
In France, our english level is very bad though. Most of French people don’t speak english. The communication with foreigners is very complicated. And our english classes are kinda useless.
Well if the education system is going to follow how President Macron learned English, then it should succeed right?
Cause I think he does actually speak English quite good. Much better than our Prime minister does
(I was reminded of that last one cause I heard him speak English on the news yesterday, when the oppostion leader of Belarus arrived. Ohh his English was so cringe…)
