Now in spanish class, this u is used in certain words. The letter “G” is a complicated letter in spanish for no reason whatsoever. You use that U with Gue, and Gui (I’m in computer right now so can’t do that U) to make it sound like the syllabes Ga, Go and Gu.

I would explain more in depht but I’m lazy and I’m sure no one cares, but its fun to write nevertheless.
