Game is becoming more tough and expensive

This game is so fun, with favourite disney heroes and villains. BUT there is a big problem, its becoming more expensive in terms of character upgrades mainly ranks and skill levels.

Back then i didn’t buy any packs thinking i’ll be well off without them, but the more i realise that vip5 is very needed for easy rankups. So i did make a few purchases in order to reach vip5, speedrun all the way to lvl 370 and got a bunch of characters yellow rank, i did fine with arena and colloseum early on, but the longer i played, the longer i realised that even money cant solve everything. i was struggling to do campaign and mainly surge, the only game mode that gives a bunch of needed gold. But with all these new upgraded characters, older and weaker characters are now becoming super duper strong.

i will say that i might be doing less damage due to lack of mod level and collection level, but i dont think even with high collection levels and mods, i’ll be able to succeed in surge. the enemies in surge are way to powerful, even with higher power characters, the bots are always somehow stronger, there is no way to defeat them. Its difficult to play a game where the most important resource is the hardest resource to get, even diamonds are easy to get now with prize wall being a thing. now i have accumulated so much skill points and stamina that i am unable to use them due to the lack of gold, even the gold i get from port and diamond crates, it only gives a few million, only a fraction of what i actually need to upgrade skill levels to max ( which is the main source of big damage ). And even after maxing out skill levels of a few characters, there will always and always be more characters needed to upgrade in order to keep up with the meta, so u end up needing to save more gold and more resources in order to rank up those characters because they deal so much damage that nobody can catch up, and sadly for them to eventually be overthrown by another set of characters that got new upgrades and deals even MORE damage, its a whole cycle that is just soo boring, with this problem also, it ended up in me quitting the game, i still have my account with my yellow rank characters and a bunch of stamina packs and other stuff, but it just makes me regret my purchases, getting those packs in the first place thinking it’ll help me in the long run.

I really hope the game gets better in terms of gold, reducing the cost needed for ranks and skill levels.

The staff had a bad attitude and questions about bugs, crashes, difficulty balance, etc. were ignored. It was a terrible game overall and they wouldn’t answer any of my email questions and told me to send them through a bot instead.

It is primarily the ingame gold that holds me back when it comes to upgrades.
Especially skill upgrades.

The last time I tried a batch upgrade of 5 characters, my gold went to almost 0.
I started with something like 5b.

I was told I need to upgrade a specific character I do not use in order to solve my chapter roadblock problem, but am reluctant to do so for fear of using too much gold.

Do you do Surge every day? I find gold to be one of the most plentiful resources but mainly bc every day I hit two high level areas in surge and collect all of the bonus points on those, then I auto select and raid more areas and finally contribute my heroes. Currently on server 1 I am making billions every day with this.

Biggest issue I have is the power creep. Refreshes are great, but a lot of them are useless because new heroes arriving have trillions in hp and damage plus a whole bag full of tricks whereas only a few of the refreshed heroes are able to compete at the this level of.

In regards to Surge I can explain some as they were in the Guild I am in.

The issue in regards to Surge is that after the change that made Surge harder it has actually been really hard for people in my guild to do Surge as it is a mixed level and power guild. (Meant to be a core-casual guild).

As Surge is based on the Guild’s power it now over focuses on the power of the the strongest in the Guild, and right now the power distribution is really uneven:

And yeah, this is our Surge regions today ramps power up too fast for our guild to take on easily.
Before Surge was made harder my guild typically focused on clearing the 10 to 14 region rather than the 1 and 2 region, since 10-14 was safer for us to clear.

Also, today before the highest power player in my Guild did Surge the Wave count was actually just around 5 or 7, so yeah without the highest power player doing Surge it is really hard for us to get above Wave 8.

I personally don’t have the power to take down many of those lines and considering that I also have to try to do region 1 and 2 as well. I can maybe only help with getting 1 or 2 waves to progress as in beating the harder regions, after that I am out of resources.

The current Surge setup formula seem to be over prioritizing the strongest person’s max power in the guild or at least the top 5/10 ones.
The issue is that may not be representative for the whole guild, which is the case for me as only 4 people are over 10 billion power in the guild and only 6 people above 5 billion power.

I am personally not sure on what to do in regards to this, like the highest power ones help out in Guild War, but they affect Surge in a extremely high huge way which is unideal.
Most people in my guild are under the Billion mark, only 18 people are above 1 billion in power, so under half of the guild are above the billion mark.

So what ends up happening given the high power irregularity is that I sometimes have to buy Mercenaries to give the rest of the Guild access to the next Wave, which drain my gold resources a lot as I have to buy mercenaries around 200+ million in order to unlock the next wave at times.
And at times I may lose technically and as such get no gold bonus, however I may lower the enemy team form 5 to 2 characters so I can Raid and finish it. Still, I miss out on a lot of Gold this way compared to how Surge is intended as a Gold giving resource feature through challenge battles.

You see why Ferbius had problems with Surge and Gold, and yeah it is a unideal situation to be in, so need to figure out what to do in order to lessen the power difference irregularity between guild power and the high power demand in Surge.

My team is so outdated that I literally cannot beat the first invasion battle.

That’s how bad it’s gotten.

I got one shotted on the first invasion battle too.
Then decided to skip this week’s invasion.

The power creep meant I had to give up playing Surge.

@TheGrillFather just asking a bit after the new update… would it be possible to revisit diamond bundles at some point? They offer very little and now with the update even less.

At least if the stamina consumables are changed in some bundles with cost resets or… more consumables.

I surely know there´s a 3951 diamonds cost raid bundle that has 1 stamina cost reset and 40 consumables. Even without bonus after the update that single stamina cost reset (and 500 diamonds spent) gives 1.5M stamina in S1 (984k stamina in S21/25)… while 40 consumables give 2,400 stamina, which is almost 1000x less.

One more feedback considering the stamina change.

If it is possible to discuss within a team - I would move Power Craft from VIP 4 to VIP 1 or even VIP 0.

VIP 3 then could have a perk “1 less Stamina needed in Normal and Elite Campaign up to Chapter 30”.
VIP 4 would have up to Chapter 60.
VIP 5 would have all chapters.

The biggest gripe about the stamina regen, buys and all change is that F2P players (which don´t have Power Craft) are basically unable to spend the stamina as the game will freeze under millions of stamina spent.

That definitely would be good, as with so much stamina, it will take too long to use it.

And VIPs will still have the power promote.

Also, very good. This would make VIP more persuasive to get.

EDIT: Additional small thing.
On S21/S25 the stamina is regenerated in 12 hours, on S1 it´s 6 hours…
