Go Go Tomago (Big Hero 6) Concept - Welcome to the Nerd Lab!

Hello All! This is my very first attempt at a concept, so please don’t be too harsh. Admittedly, I am bad with in-game skill names, so if one already exists or is SUPER close, it isn’t intentional, I just rarely pay attention to anything besides the color of it usually. When I saw a new status effect description shown in-game (Shatter), I was inspired to give a concept character the Normal damage version of this and have it go to a character from one of my favorite Disney Movies, Big Hero 6! The overall concept could obviously end up needing some additional tweaking, but hopefully it has potential and I do welcome feedback, in case I ever get inspired to do any more in the future. :innocent:

Go Go Tomago
Damage / Mid / Red

Go Go uses the incredible speed provided by her Mag-Lev Discs to rush to the aid of someone in need or pummel the enemies that put them in danger.

“Stop whining, woman up.”

Animations

Victory: She zips around on her Mag-Lev Discs and faces forward as she stops and pops her gum while striking a pose with a hand on her hip.

Defeat: She falls backwards, dropping her Mag-Lev Discs and her gum pops and covers her entire face.

Entrance: She rushes ahead in a figure 8 motion and spins around and goes to her starting Mid position. Go Go generally moves back and forth on her discs throughout the match, never really standing still unless Debuffed/Disabled.

Basic Attack: Go Go tosses a Mag-Lev Disc at the closest enemy that hits the enemy for a second time as it is returning to Go Go, resulting in 2 total hits per basic attack.

Skills

Maximum Velocity :white_circle: ( :fist:)

Passive: Go Go gains 1 stack of Momentum after each successful basic attack. Each stack of Momentum increases her attack and movement speed by 10%. Go Go can receive a maximum of 5 stacks.

Active: Go Go speeds through the enemy line knocking back all enemies, removing her stacks of Momentum and dealing X amount of damage per stack of Momentum to affected enemies. Go Go then speeds back through the enemies and attacks them with her discs at them on the way to her original position, dealing X amount of damage to each enemy struck.

Debilitating Toss :green_circle: ( :fist:)

Go Go tosses her Mag-Lev Discs at the 2 closest enemies dealing X amount of damage to each enemy hit, applying the Expose status for 7 seconds. Exposed enemies take 5% of their Max HP as True Damage each time they are dealt Normal Damage from an enemy.

Skills that deal damage over time can only trigger Expose once per second at max. Expose has a chance to not be applied to enemies above Level 250.

Daring Rescue :large_blue_circle:

When an ally is about to receive a fatal blow, Go Go speeds over to them, taking the hit for them instead. Go Go cleanses herself of all debuffs and her HP is reduced to 1HP. Go Go also receives up to 5 stacks of Momentum and Reflect for 8 seconds after using this skill. If multiple enemies receive a fatal blow with the same attack, Go Go will prioritize the farthest back ally.

Go Go can use this skill once per wave.

Unstoppable :purple_circle:

Go Go gains 20 Evasion and 40 Tenacity for every 3 stacks of Momentum she gains for the rest of the wave. These buffs can stack up to 5 times.

These buffs are less effective if the highest level enemy is above level 250.

Pushing the Limits :red_circle:

Exposed enemies also have their attack and movement speed reduced by 50%. Temporary movement and attack speed buffs on Go Go last 50% longer and she gains 50 Normal Crit and 30 Crit Damage while these buffs are active.

The speed and crit buff increases have a chance to fail if the speed increase is from an ally above level 250.

Tron - "Fine Tuning"

Campaign: Tron takes Go Go along to test out the new Light Cycles that were provided to him by Kevin Flynn, but they encounter creeps along their test ride and decides give the new Light Cycles a test in combat as well as speed. Go Go is in awe of Tron’s mobility with his Light Cycle and his combat skills with his Identity Discs, two traits that she wishes to learn from to use in her duties as a member of Big Hero 6.

Go Go begins each wave with 5 stacks of Momemtum; The cap on Go Go’s Momentum stacks is increased by 5 stacks.
+X Armor per stack of Momentum

Honey Lemon - "Keeping Up"

Campaign: Go Go and Honey Lemon are project partners for their Advanced Robotics class at SFIT and decides to create something that perfectly utilizes their respective expertise in Engineering and Chemistry. The duo runs into creeps and citizens in need along the way and Go Go becomes both frustrated and intrigued by Honey Lemon’s unwavering optimism and is determined to figure out how it is possible…

Enemies damaged by Debilitating Toss lose 40% of their armor. Stacks up to 3 times.

Ahaaaa…I see someone’s a fan of my concepts–

Oh. Well, great minds do think alike, after all… ;3

This is a very good first concept, I must say. The ability names aren’t bad at all, and I also really like the touch of putting a fist emoji next to the skill name to denote a Normal damage attack. Maybe that’s something I should adopt.

My only real complaint is something that doesn’t really matter at all–for the friend disks, I like putting a little synopsis for what the friend campaign’s story would be about along with the disk’s effects. Just for some flavor.

Otherwise, hey, keep ‘em comin’. Everyone loves a good hero concept!

Extremely high quality for a first concept! I also made a Normal Damage version of Shattered in a recent concept, but yours seems more unique I gotta admit

Thanks for the input! I was constantly looking at the preview thinking I needed to change/add things to make it “pop” more. I did take quite a few things from Column A and B from different concepts, so feel free if it would work better for yours too. :sunglasses:

Admittedly, I was struggling trying to figure something out for sure to make it about. I have way more to go on for Honey Lemon, but Tron’s wasn’t all there yet. Quorra seemed like a more obvious choice, but Tron seemed better overall since he didn’t have Friends yet (IIRC) and has been out for quite a while, and brings similar things to the table that Quorra does.

Thanks! I was trying not to make it too OP since most heroes have Normal damage naturally, but judgement on the effect overall is still too fresh to tell since Russell just dropped today, so things could change. I kept going back and forth for a while on the skills, especially Purple. Just had to figure out something else to do with the stacks and it wasn’t clicking.

She allreàdy got released

Try not to revive topics that died.

Check the date this was posted. It was released BEFORE Go Go was added to the game. :man_facepalming:
