I have notice sometimes when i go into the creep surge that there is a random guild star that shows up where ever, is this just the games way of telling me that another guild member is currently fighting that area??
If a guildie is attacking the region, it’ll appear red. Clicking a red area will tell you who’s hitting it. 
That means it is the one it thinks you are closest in power to. If my team had 7,800 power and the match had 7,789 power, it would have a star on it.
