How can you think this is fair compensation for the amount of Stamina and Diamonds so many of us used during our progress towards completing the “Celebrity of the Week” challenge?
Everyday I was spending 288 Stamina on Raiding and 60 Diamonds on Resetting. That totals out to 1728 Stamina and 360 Diamonds over the days before the update put a hard stop to the Challenge progress.
What you’re essentially saying is, “Too bad; Try again”. It is insulting.
Wow, you spent that much to complete a challenge before they gave out Challenge Tokens?
I agree, I was specifically doing Buzz elite missions for this, I could have being applying those diamonds & stamina elsewhere. I would not have done those if it wasn’t for the challenge.
Now I have to do this all over again for another character.
If you do a character with 4 levels, it’s doable without the extra diamonds. I did Ralph, and finished with a day left.
Yeah, op wants compensation for bad choices. You still got Moana chips or whatever. I did frozone, was finished before the reset happened, didn’t spend anything more than my usual 50 diamonds resets, and didn’t even need those to do frozone.
That’s ridiculous. You have to make a choice between farming elite chips or badges, since stamina is limited. Depending on which hero you’re farming (any with only three levels), you HAVE to spend diamonds to complete it. There were no characters with four levels I needed so I didn’t waste stamina on getting useless chips.
The developers made a really careless mistake switching the elite campaign heroes the week they’re offering the challenge. It’s actually incredible how careless they were. No player working on the challenge did anything wrong, they would have completed it had not the DEVELOPERS made a mistake. People wasted diamonds doing resets, and that upset them, because if not for the challenge they could just wait for the normal daily reset to farm the heroes they need.
You don’t need to spend diamonds to complete the quest, end of story. If you did, that’s on you.
I don’t think this is an unreasonable request, sure you can do it without diamonds.
But we all know this game is about opportunity cost, so many of us would not have had tunnel vision for a certain hero if it wasn’t for this challenge. Now we have to do that all over again, when we have other things that desperately need working on too.
