For invasion breaker fights Maui takes seriously no damage during fights except from some heroes like mother gothel. And I used every available power up I could. And did all the fights to debuff Maui as well. Even with that being the only damage he takes it makes him seem impossible to beat since he can repeatedly destroy my teams. He’s too OP now. Even using certain heroes to beat him it’s worse since I’ve leveled nobody to deal with this problem. I’ve seen him cause the same problem in friend missions. So beating him just makes multiple things in the game worse now.

Maui reduces damage regardless of his enemies. So, upgrading won´t really help that much.

Unless you have a strong Baymax and a strong Donald Duck…at least, that’s what I did in my Red Team Trials.
But on topic, you right, Nums, Maui’s gauranteed that either Friend Campaign team will get K.O.-ed or fight will ran out of time…that is unless team acts fast AND strong.
