Because of my college course I have exams clustered in this month of July and I can’t be distracted by this game.
In doing so I will drop rank on arena and collisium. When I return upon ranking up again will I receive the rank up bonuses(diamonds, money and tokens)?

No you won’t. You only receive these rewards once and I’ve found out the hard way that if you get demoted you won’t earn the rewards again if you promote back.

Did they change that recently? I remember some players were intentionally demoting just to promote and gain the reward again, but it was so impractical and silly that I never expected PB to “fix” it.
It has definitely been changed.
