Huh, I have no one to congratulate. LGDB was so close, but changed their votes for some reason.
Sadly, I have nothing mammoth-related in my collections, most of my fossils are either fish or invertebrates. I do have one mammal fossil-a cave bear phalange.
I never had any vertebrates as pets, even if I thought to get one. By far my pets were either achatinas or different insects.
About zoos…Moscow Zoo has a large pond with ducks, and when I was younger, I jumped through the fence to get myself a ruddy shelduck feather lying near the fence. Since then I have stolen dozens of feathers from different zoos, but never again had I entered a bird enclosure.
But I still said “more than once”. I once was participating in a zoo club, and we went to the sloth bear enclosure to pick up all nettles growing there. The bears weren’t there, obviously…but I still found some bear fur!
