Merlin's white skill against invincibility

So basically Merlin’s white skill can turn Gaston into squirrel even when his invincibility is active.
But Merlin couldn’t turn Hercules when his invincibility is active.
There’s no specific description about each of their invincibility skill, so they should work the same.

So could you please clarify whether Merlin’s white skill can or cannot actually turn any invincible heroes.
Because either it needs to be fixed.

I can only say it’s true.
Merlin can’t turn Hercules into squirrel when he’s invincibility, but he can do that to Gaston.

Can Merlin’s active work also on Hercules?

Gaston can also be stunned charmed frozen etc while invincible unlike Hercules. Wack.
