New Purposes of an Old Section?

I have a question. Do you guys think the General Chat section should be removed from the Forums? Or maybe try to find its purpose of being there?

Like the last topics made there is from like 2 or 3 years ago, and there are some people reviving topics in that section. Should there be a reason why it should be removed or why we should open it up again?

Well, technically it is removed from the forums, it’s just that the old topics are still visible. But yeah, I find it an unnecessary section because its purposes are now spread out to other sections
