To explain it, the reason why the listed characters are “bad” to say is due to that they are old and as such doesn’t have as much of a power potential.
I usually use the word outdated rather than bad, so yeah more so just outdated by newer and better characters, so like basically comparing a computer from 1980 to a PC from these days in the 2020s.
The the newer the characters are the better they are, as in the power level start generally get stronger and stronger over time. This is called Power Creep, over time the release power/stats has higher potential.
So when the characters actually are released they have a relatively set path potential wise, and won’t benefit from the Power Creep over time as they now are released.
So it isn’t that the characters are actually bad in that sense, just not strong enough to survive as they are old and as such outdated.
However how good a character actually is at the core depends mainly on their skillset, so some older while technically outdated characters can still be useful such as Wall-E and Sulley in terms of City Watch :-).
So what the old characters generally need is a refresh, as in PerBlue strengthens them by that making them more on par with current meta level.
That way they can become meta good and be able to better survive.
We should get around 1 refresh a month now, so we should get more old characters back in terms of being more useable :-).

You were gonna find out the hard way eventually, when you hit the Disgust brick wall and wonder how in the world your team of old, outdated heroes was wiped out in one single hit.

We could potential get an update to the roadmap before Friday maybe, but beside that we will have to wait until Friday to see the actual patch/update notes.
The next patch notes have to be something big to make up for the delay
It’ll come Ik it’s been 3 weeks with no new Patch notes but please be patient because Loutre will let us know if they’re coming or not but I do expect to see if they will come this Friday
I’m still hoping for the patch notes, but I’ll be patient.
