So just today after the challenge reset, I could not purchase more stamina and would get this error message . This was not the case prior to today, and this error message only applies to friend stamina. @Polaris Could I check if this is an intended change as it was not stated in the patch notes, but it does have a huge impact on the quality of life of players.
There’s always been a hard cap on stamina that can be stored via purchases - it increases with each level cap raise. Last time it was around 28k so looks like it’s gone up to around 31k.
You can still grow your stamina pool through the daily quest refreshes, weekly quest rewards and other ‘free’ sources, but not through diamond purchases unless you drop it below the cap.

Make use of your stamina. Go and fight (and raid). That should work
Exactly.
However there was one patch that allowed us to go possibly infinite. I was able to get to over 100k stam in raw stock and others got even higher.
