Hey guys, I just thought of something that can really give players more Quality of Life.
I was a Tibia player back in the day and a few friends of mine started playing the game again during quarentine. Because they talk about it everyday, I started making relations between Tibia and Disney Heroes.
There’s this feature on Tibia that you can leave your character training skills while you’re offline so you can make the game progress faster. I don’t know the hardcore mechanics of it, but I imeditely started to think about how this could be applied to Disney Heroes. So here’s what I came up with:
-
Level Training:
You can select up to 5 heroes to start training. These guys will acquire XP over time while you are offline. Maybe a “grande xp drink” per offline minute. Maybe it can be upgraded to give more xp per offline minute. I’ll leave that up to the devs. -
Skills Training:
The same 5 heroes would also level up their skills. This could happen in two different ways. The first way is to select which skill you want to prioritize on each hero, so that skill will be the only one leveling up. The second way is to select to level up all the skills together, so the hero will get all his skill to level 2 before starting leveling them up to level 3 and so on. In this second mode, the hero would start training first his white skill, then the green, the blue and the purple. Red skills would probably be left aside because we need Skill Chips and Hero Chips.
Considering that we don’t have the equivalent of xp drinks for skills that can fill out the skill bar before leveling it up, maybe we can think of some kind of timer that takes progressively longer as the skill level goes up. This timer would get pause if you log in to the game and it would get unpaused once you’re offline again.
I think this would be a good way to catch up with the level cap increase and it would be a nice way to give a boost to those heroes that are left aside because we don’t have enough resources to level them up.
The progress will get slower as the level increases so it won’t break the game.
What do you guys think of this idea?
@Polaris can you please pass this idea forward to the team?
