We would not share any purchase date like that. That is too internal and not something I would poke the team for.
Thanks for replying to my questions. I understand that you are newer to this forum. I think a lot of our actual complaints and frustration stems back to when Polaris was running it and possibly even before for older players. I understand that previous grievances arenāt your fault in any way, but the general disposition toward players at that time is still an issue for many of us. I think thatās why your comments were perceived the way they were.
I think sometimes itās helpful to just receive acknowledgment about the way you feel from the people you are trying to express it to, especially when youāve spent time and possibly money toward something.
Itās unfair because you gained from it getting 3x the amount of rewards than other people. Not everyone reads the forums or is stupid enough to follow something that breaks TOS
I donāt believe it was in the TOS when I downloaded the game on the early days of beta, but I could be wrong on that. I am not even sure if it is there now. I canāt find it
If you cant read sure that might be confirmed but no where on that post was it confirmed thats how deals worked. Thank you for your imput tho
Itās not unfair if it was open to literally EVERYONE. A fault has been pointed out to developers. You are welcome.
If it was real would you consider waiting on spending or not? It would influence your behaviour on spending. Therefore it is sensitive data. And therefore it is confirmed. Capiche?
Definitely not what confirmed means but ok!!
I meanā¦ itĀ“s know-how. Know-how earns moneyā¦
And their know-how is just to not tell if waiting on deals actually works or not.
Would you just outright share a know-how of a company in public? What would it do?
The right answer: You would lose money. Of course.
Technically, theyāre either comfirming nor denying it.
If they confirm it, people wonāt bother spending on deals and will wait for better ones.
And if they deny it, they have to suffer the blacklash from people operating under that assumption.
Being elusive is the smart play there.
I agree with Waffles and also appreciate the feedback. However, I still contend that this could be resolved by simply taking back the extra resources, and warning the players involved, without the player ban.
It feels like the ban was implemented simply to appease players who were upset and reported the gameplay as unfair. And they will probably be the ones to directly argue against this point, but from our perspective, no warning or communication in any way that leads directly to a ban, seems a bit hyper-reflexive, and one-sided.
If this was an issue where players were made aware not to use this part of the gameplay, and they did it anyway, then sure, ban away.
And to say you see no reason to hear peoplesā concerns on this issue any further, also seems like a poor approach. Close-mindedness and sticking to an initial position, without taking in any more information, just further exacerbates the issue of not being heard.
Yep pretty much that is the truth. Believe it or not.
Just a quick review on why the team considers this needed:
If 20 guild members bought a $50 deal with 200 upgrade pieces = thatās $1000 income for PB+Google, Google gets their cut and part of it goes as income to PB.
HOWEVER. You could easily trick the system in getting 250 upgrade pieces for more than 20 guild members while paying overall $50 or maybe even less if lucky.
Even if it was anything below $500, thatās still a 50% loss of income.
And thatās why it matters to the team, because itās essentially robbing them of the money.
Orā¦ wellā¦ the company.
That has nothing to do with any comment made here lol
No, I just happened to say why the thinking of getting more rewards out of a contest does not workā¦
Letās face it guys, if it was less upgrade pieces you would do nothing. You just saw a great way to circumvent a $65 worth of upgrades.
Iāll concede to that point, but also point out that the value of pretty much everything in game is entirely PBās decision and has no correlation with the effort or resources that go into itās production as it is literally a case of increasing a number.
Compleatly false lol I would have done it even if it were 10 mod piecesā¦ Why because I saw a way to obtain more resources in a way that did not hinder anyone else in the game
Yes, and this will continue over and over.
So if you like it - good, enjoy the game, be happy. (I am, but because of Badge Crates, not the constant cap raises).
If you donāt like it being repetitive, then just follow Loutreās message and leave the game now. Otherwise you will just suffer and leave the game someday else, be it a month, two or a year later.
I donāt believe you. Such contest giving 50+ mod pieces was there and no one did anything. And it was 6 days and it was a guild one.
Because I relised this could possibly happen and said lets try it
Yes, but you could have realised it the last time a guild contest had upgrade pieces and I believe it had green ones. But you didnāt, so what was the hold up?
And green skill ones are much rarer than any other skill.
