Or a crate with decent item drops that costs 10M gold per shot. And there are like 30 of it. Maybe instead of the “Pot of Gold Crate” which is beyond terrible.
Now this is a good post. This includes myself and quite some people. I just hoard on any other account I have. And having the opportunity to even just merge one alternate account into other (say, main, for example) would be nice without the server merge. Just saying @Loutre. After all, there are some people that kept two accounts after the previous server merge and they may or may not have changed their stance after several months…
This would be, by far, not only the best solution for the gold surplus, but the best solution for several other issues in the game. Shame it’ll never happen.
So replace the crate where you pay diamonds for gold with a crate where you pay gold for stuff you’d normally have to buy with diamonds. I like it.

PB created that “coffin”. And now punishes F2P players 
They really don’t want them, and only force players to pay.
They care so much about economy… but balance? Pfff… not existing, lack of refreshes is just dumb here.
Nerfing new heroes won’t do a trick, just will be annoying to a lot of players.
So sad.

I JUST CANNOT FATHOM Beta Tanks having 20M HP at best and New Tanks having 60M+ when maxed.
Like… same with basically any (not even just beta) pre-2021 hero and a 2021 hero.
Any 2021 hero can delete a pre-2021 hero in nearly one shot.

@Loutre mainly for you and the team to be aware, but the lack of Triple Port (and double port to a lesser degree), is quickly causing a lot of toxicity on the server.
And the comment that you’re “watching the gold economy” just added kerosene to the fire!
The overall assumption is that you (the developers) think we earn to much gold, at a time were nearly everyone complains about a huge lack of gold, a situation worse than ever felt.
The assumption is that everyone gets punished because a few grind Invasion to the extreme, where they earn Billions of gold.
As you can imagine, it’s not a pretty picture if a majority assumes they’re getting starved because of 10-20 players on a server. And it reflects extremely poorly on how the situation is handled on your side.
Things might be much different on old servers and gold might not be an issue, but on S22 gold is running out on a daily basis for a lot of players. And surge is doing not much to help, just barely more than PB.

I see the double drop events as a bonus. IMO we shouldn’t count on free double drop days or get mad when they don’t come as often as we like.
I find some of the responses funny on this thread.
On one hand bragging you have 95+ port resets then complaining you have no xp drinks.
Maybe their data is showing that the hoarding of port resets would throw off the game economy.
The moderator doesn’t control and isn’t allowed to give out inside information. They gave the feedback to the devs and updates. They did everything they are able to.
Getting mad because we don’t like the answer won’t help anyone.

The longer they are waiting the more we will have. It’s their fault.
They constantly adding cap rises as usual, but the number of new heroes and new game features drastically decreased. Now they won’t even give events which before we at least once per month. They really want as much as possible money from a minimal effort by their side.
How can people be even happy about that?

The main issue here is that events, as contests, tend to follow patterns. And whenever those patterns are broken, it throws people off.
It’s even worse, than not having double drops from normal campaign for 3 months, as those are available as items, so you can decide on your own when you want to use them.
But for Port & Trial, there’s no such item. So you have to rely on the developer to decide when they’ll bring that event.
And as long as it’s not officially discontinued, people will keep hording those resets, as no one wants to uses them on Sunday, just for PB to bring a triple drop 3 days later.

Sad to get punished by the never appearing double/triple ports, just because a select few people can spend all time, everyday, doing invasion and get billions of gold.
Please, the whole community needs it asap.

I don’t do that much invasion; I get all the gold I need from Creep Surge. 
Trust me, if PerBlue gave me some way to spend more gold, without having to tap a couple of buttons for hours at a time, I’d spend more gold. But that doesn’t seem to be much of a priority right now…
