Q&A Session - July 3

In terms of topics, the only one that comes to mind first and foremost would have to be Red Skills.

Not in regards to Red Skill Chips, but rather the Red Skill Levels (ex. effect has a chance to fail above level X) limiting some if not all of the main effects of the Red Skill itself. I speak for many a player in wondering why these were created to what I feel undermines the struggle and work to procuring a Red Skill to begin with.

Additional stat boosts aren’t the focus for players to achieve Red Skills, but rather the extra benefits they can achieve… and yet combating an enemy hero with an artificially higher (if not maxed) Red Skill feels a sense of unbalanced difficulty, in a way?

Like, while players know the effects of Red Skills from the info screen, they can be more unreliable compared to the AI which performs them near flawlessly.

I am not against enemies having Red Skills during combat or Infected Areas, but am against the limited feeling from a player’s perspective.

Yeah, I’ve always thought this is really bad design because of how frequently the level cap increases - there’s just no way to keep as many red skills as we’d like maxed out, which basically can make their primary function useless :man_facepalming: I’d also like to know if there are any plans to review this

Why hasn’t there been Treasure Planet characters added to the game when badges based on the movie have appeared in it?

By that logic, they also promised to slow down new heroes, bug fixes, and QoL improvements.

The fact that cap raises included in some updates are the thing you most want to slow down, doesn’t mean that’s what PerBlue promised to slow down when they said there would be fewer updates. Polaris specifically mentioned new game modes when talking about how fast the game was updating in the fall of 2018, so it’s logical to conclude that’s what was meant by updates slowing down in 2019. Continuing to interpret that as a promise to slow down cap raises is, I think, a sign of bad faith.

Also, while not sure if these questions has been asked before, but in relation to Perks as mentioned earlier, I would like to ask if new Guild contest perks will be added when the current one is full?
From what I can tell it is about 4, maybe 3 more Guild Conquests until it is filled up by the guilds who manage to max out their Progress Rewards. So while I am not 100% sure, I think that would maybe mean that within 3-4/5 months we need new Guild Contents perks.

Like Chassie mentioned, I would also like to hear in terms if there will the future could be a third friendship, or to say a third story between 2 characters. I myself isn’t necessarily interested in a third disk even if it could be cool, what I would like is more story opportunities fully realized and be interesting and engaging :-).

UI wise there should be space for a third friendship so that’s shouldn’t be a problem, though it seems like somewhere between Goofy and Mickey’s friendship and Donald and Scrooge’s friendship story has been less of a priority as newer friendships like Donald and Scrooge’s friendship missions doesn’t seem to have conclusions to them. If okey I would like to ask the reason to why mission stories got less prioritized?
Overall I think all story content is Disney Heroes biggest strength as gives purpose to the grinding and something to look forward to other than the grind itself in order to become stronger.

Short question versions:
.1. Will there likely be new Guild Contest perks before the Guild Contest perks has been maxed out?
.2. Is there a chance there will be a third friendship eventually? The UI has space for it.
.3. What is the reason to why friendship missions’s story content seem to have been less prioritized compared more recently to earlier?

What I have said, more than once, is that they were saying they would slow down adding new game modes and features.

Moreover, in my first reply to you I mentioned I thought it would be a good idea to slow down the cap raises.

But you’re so fixated on their “broken promise” that you can’t look at their original post, or my replies, objectively.

Since I’m obviously not going to change your mind about that, I’m not going to try any further. (Besides which, this has long since gone off-topic, I’m sure.) Good luck with continuing to get them to listen to you while you accuse them of lying and laziness; I’m sure you’re happy with the results you’ve gotten so far in order to keep using those tactics.

@Champion_David Polaris mentioned that could post topics here that we would like to to be examined and talked about, so it should be okey. :-).

Although, I agree that it isn’t necessary to post all our questions now, which I personally haven’t. What I would like is that there being an extended explanation on the things related to story content :-).
An extended explanation of how they go about creating story content for Disney Heroes probably isn’t necessarily a quick answer depending on how much they elaborate, so having time to prepare beforehand I think would be beneficial for such a question.

As for my other questions they could probably be asked in the Q&A post itself, but at least if Perblue want they can prepare for the questions if they want to try to answer them and take the time to give good and elaborate answers if they would like to :-).
In any case though, looking forward to the Q&A and hope it will be a fun and interesting time ^^.

If you scroll through this post, there’s a lot more people interested in new heroes than anything else, and most of them aren’t exactly the whale demographic - I’d argue that they are pretty justified pushing them out as quickly as they do, even if it feels ridiculous to those of us who want to be competitive

(note for obviousness - I don’t like the rate of hero & meta turnover either)

Any consideration of additional mercs slots for posting since we have far more toons available and endless surge now? Might be a good guild perk.

  1. Why are there so many stages of a color in this game? We have 9 ranks of Orange and now 11 of Red (with no sign of ending in sight)? Why can’t we have new color without passing that many ranks? :frowning:

  2. I couldn’t careless about the lv increase monthly, but the rank? Stamina cost for those latest badges is insane! Why do you guys intentionally make things so expensive?

  3. Hero refresh: It usually takes months for you guys to refresh 1 - 2 heroes but only weeks to introduce 3-5 new heroes, making all those refreshes meaningless! There are a lot of useless heroes right now, some of them are even my favorite but I couldn’t do anything for them, because it’d be stupid putting against new ones

Sp, could you guys please consider refresh old heroes more often? And pls make those refreshes meaningful

  1. Red Skill : It comes to no surprise that it’s impossible to keep many Red Skills up to hero’s level! I have been tried to farm for Elsa’s Red Skill for weeks but haven’t come close to her lv (180). And with many Red Skill available, it makes our hero selection really limited, making it harder to work on the specific Red Skill that we want (and pls, don’t tell me about those Red Skill chip deals, those are total rip-offs)

So, I’d like you guys to either:

  • Increase Skill chips drop and let us select the skill chips that we want from our heroes participate in fight ; or
  • Decrease skill chips needed for lv up
  1. Old hero chips: I know there are people with thousand of unused hero chips but that not the majority of us! I can’t work on new heroes for obvious reason so the only option left is work on old heroes’ Red Skill! But I don’t have enough hero chips for that!!!

So if you guys could, let us donate/ask for hero chips from our guild mates. You guys could set some limit on which heroes are not available (they will after becoming old) and how many chips per day…

And give us good diamond deals on those hero chips that we need, not trying to ripping us off our hard-earned diamonds

  1. Diamond deals: Right now, diamond deals are useless. Please focus on making those up-to-date and actually meaningful

  2. Consider new daily event: triple drops in Campaign is not a bad idea. You guys do it once for Elite, pls consider making it for Normal

  3. You guys said you guys would like to fix in-game economy, but everytime you guys increase something, it becomes a joke. Mean while, the things we need to spend gold on, they increases like crazy. Also, pls consider deleting badge-crafting cost. It is insane. Havent we spent enough for those badges already

  4. We need new catch-up perks (No, I’m not talking about those awful team-Exp-Double ones). With how many ranks we have at the moment (and we will have way more if this game is still alive), it’s reasonable for you guys to give us a new kind of perk: heroes starting at X lv and Y rarity. This will accumulate with Vip perks

We should have our heroes at least at P4 or O0 when we unlock them with appropriate level as well. And whenever you guys raise lv and rarity, this perk will automatically level up by 1 as well

For example: we are at R10, and if this perk allow our heroes to be at O0, when you guys release R11, we should have them at O1. Seem totally fair, doesn’t it? Also, this perk will affect all our current heroes under that rarity

This perk will not break the game but instead will keep it alive for a long time as it helps most of us keep up and won’t be tied out by the never-ending rush of new level and rarity update monthly

Hey @Polaris! I’m a huge fan of Phineas and Ferb since childhood and I am seriously eager to see these characters in the game. Do you have any plans of adding these characters to the game at some point? I made hero concepts for these characters in the Hero Wishlist and I wish you guys will notice it. :blush:

3 Can you adding more new charthers from tv shows? Phineas and ferb heintz doofenshimertz perry jake long dipper mabel stanely pines and bill cipher could all be added

4 Are you going to adding onward ? There were some places in the world this movie was realeased in march allready
