Ok I remember that I used p3 heroes to beat r1 Ralph .
But why Ralph is likely that?
Old hero.
Never refreshed.
He never was good tbh. At least, not since I play. He’s even worse now, despite the red skill, because his bad stats feel even more garbage, thanks to newer heroes with stronger stats.
He is one of the beginning heroes, maybe he’ll get refreshed for the anniversary update.
I find Ralph has never been strong as a Tank. However I do think he is fairly underrated as a Control. So long as he isn’t the one taking the beating or has decent support he makes a semi decent Control hero which his Red skill in particular seems to accentuate. His CC is not anything to sneeze at with having a 7.5 second aoe stun and a 17 second single target stun taking into account a 5 Vannelope disk and his Red skill.
However given all that into consideration, it is as people above have said. He is simply outclassed stat wise being quite literally one of the first heroes made he hasn’t gotten the attention to improve his viability. His Red skill is a step in the right direction but he still needs about 12 of those steps to be considered on par with even mediocre tanks like his goody goody two shoes counterpart.
He isn’t strong in any way possible to say the least. Which is ironic to his character
Guess pb didn’t like he wrecked the internet so they thought to wreck him lol.
I know i joined in February but… Was he really strong ever?
What do you think?
He Is Better With Jack Sparrow Disk
I meant it as a rhetorical question
I believe that Vannelope is miles ahead of Jack Sparrow while the skill power is laughable to the point where almost a unupgraded skill power mod gives as much as the disk gives, the extra stun length is far and above better then imprpved healing.
Ralph might be able to get his single target stun which with a 25% changes a 7 second stun into a 8.75 second stun. This also coincides with his relatively recent red skill which increases that into a 17 second stun instead of a 14 second stun.
The thing about improved healing is that it requires you to be alive to recieve said healing. You may be able to slow a team long enough for Ralph to get a cycle of abilities off. With Ralph’s purple it requires him to reach a certain health gate which doesn’t much matter with his abysmal max HP when he gets bursted down.
Now while both disks synergize with Ralph’s Red skill having to work with his Purple activating, by stunning an opponent makes him take less damage more times then not meaning less probability to be bursted down and a higher probability of his Purple activating. While Jack Sparrow’s disk does quite the opposite. By healing when an enemy is stunned that might keep Ralph above said health gate and giving him a better chance to be bursted down on the second round of abilities.
