Reality of it is the game needed to add servers as the population grew. It now needs to consolidate servers as the population dwindles down. We should expect double cap raises going further until all servers are at equal level with the ultimate possibility of the game operating on one server.
It’s a game and like all games it cannot sustain a massive player base indefinitely. There are many factors for people to stop playing and unfortunately in many cases they are at the error (or our perception of error) of the developer.

Just a quick question regarding the guilds. Im on S22 and have a guild that is full and active for the most part. With the merge will our guild as a group stay or will all accounts get broken up and have to come back together?
You all should stay together if no one in your guild consolidates. If one of your members consolidates, their account could leave.

With the last server merge everything stayed the same. Your guild should not be broken up. Same deal, just on a new server with more people.

This is not the second merger of this game. Likely the 5th or 6th. Several merges happened already.
Remember, this game used to have 24 separate servers.
I have an account on server 23 and 24… what will this do to my accounts?

If you don’t consolidate the accounts you’ll have both of them on Server 23.

3 team level cap increase and a server merge?! You also should give us TONS of free stamina, gold and gems. It’s so hard to catch up you know

I worked hard to get to where I’m at on server 23 while spending minimal money as I don’t have much to spend. I was enjoying the game quite a bit in recent months, probably more than most based on how much people seem to dislike pb, but merging my server with 24 is going to push me down quite a lot in the rankings and unless I spend money there’s nothing I can do about it. Server 24 is a notorious whale server by design due to the experimental deals it had on launch, I’m currently in the top 100 of my server and after merge ill be lucky to be in top 300. This isn’t a pointless argument as it means it will be made incredibly more difficult to perform well in contests, especially guild contests, without spending money. Time will tell if I should keep playing after the merge but I wouldn’t blame anyone else for quitting now out of frustration. But if my guild falls apart because of this merge, it is absolutely pb I will blame.

Hum. So players from s24 Can create accounts on s23 for the merge but s23 players can’t do same. Looks unfair.
I am excited for this, I love merges. Meeting new faces and the guild shakeups. It’ll be an interesting one for sure
I think the merge will be good all round really.
I’m especially looking forward to my guild rank dropping from rank 12 to something like rank 50… at least then I might have a chance of making Legendary! 
I love how we’re not getting merged at s14+18 and still got double content…
Which probably means we’ll get it again in the future when they merge us with other servers…?
