Many of my friends and me haven’t seen any good deals for a while so maybe that’s what @Loutre meant. But that is just bad business. After seeing how much we could actually buy with our money, there is no way we would spend the same amount for less

Doubt, and better not, all servers are lack of their inner population and needs merges (which are happening next month), new servers are just pointless.
Start in S1, it’s the best and stable server, and you won’t ever face double cap rises.
I merged accounts months ago. If anyone is concerned, it was very easy. Just follow the instructions and voila! Increase the power of your team. Good luck! I really thought it was worth it and still do.
Wondering if a problem I keep experiencing is due to server overload in terms of population overload?
As I understand it, when too many function calls are made to the remote server, the client slows down, sometimes freezing.
Imagine loosing a battle because you couldn’t use white skills when the client locks out input for a short time.
It also causes badge upgrades to reset to 0 while in progress.
So if this problem is caused by high population, I’d say we need less players per server, not more.

Actually my internet connection is highly stable, the error only occurs after like 10 minutes spent ingame, without variation.
The only solution is to completely close down the client and start it up again.
Got an error message like 5-7 times:
Your client has become out of sync with the server, please resync.
can confirm that I also occasionally get this error with no obvious dropped connection or cause

Probably because they fear that because of server merges, all servers will eventually merge into S1.
it’ll probably be merged in the future so maybe sometime next year
@Loutre question - hypothetically speaking if one has more accounts than during a merge, can the player ask for a merge in some way… and sometime after in case they are not satisfied, merge the rest?
Example - one has 3 accounts (A,B,C) and merges two (B and C), but later decides to merge the already merged (now B) to the first one (A).

Well, the last time my server got merged, the name it had was deleted.
It was server 16, Jewel of Atlantis.
That was annoying to me, since the server name was personally special to me.
Also, as @CodeMore6 stated, there is a risk of server merges bringing undesirable members of the community to the shared new server.
Members who are currently isolated by the virtue of being on a seperate server.
