I was a member of a Battle Mode group on Facebook but I left because I kept talking about the badges in the game and that the IP references mean that those characters are likely to be datamined but they argued that the badges mean nothing to them. Like, the Gargoyles badges that I’ve seen are Penthouse Castle
Summary
(very likely that Xanatos could be datamined), Seline’s Orb (The Weird Sisters), and Phoenix Gate (Demona), who we just got.

Well, we got Mary Poppins badges and we can´t have Mary Poppins so… I guess badges mean nothing 
One thing, not everyone want spoilers so might be good to hide spoilers with the “Hide Details” option which you can find by clicking on the cog, just something to remember for later :-).

Thank you for the warm welcome! And that’s why some people in the Facebook group were telling me to quit sharing which characters I think could be datamined because they don’t want to know.
No problem at all :-).
I see and yeah, I am the type of person who don’t want get spoiled either, so yeah appreciated if you put spoilers in hide details so that I can hopefully enjoy them when they are announced/added to the gane.

Okay, now I understand that if I see any new character mentions in the game or new IP badges suggesting new characters that are very likely to be datamined, don’t share, because most players don’t want to know which characters from movies and TV shows we’re going to get. I am, however, keeping a personal list of character mentions, IP badges and concepts I’ve seen on the forums to see if the characters announced were on that list and then I can be excited that I was right.

Welcome to the forums! Here, we’re mostly friendly so if you run into any problems with the game, or maybe something else, you can always PM someone and start a topic. Though I haven’t watched Gargoyles, the characters here are somewhat interesting. Hope you have fun here! And cheers to a good year and having fun times! 
And they were saying don’t get too excited about the badges because there are some that represent IPs that PerBlue can’t get access to like the Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Tarzan and Mary Poppins and we can’t have all the characters. They have to be approved by Disney. Maybe that’s why Anna from Frozen and Ariel from The Little Mermaid haven’t been added yet. I have seen a lot of people really wanting them to be added but they haven’t been approved yet, as well as Cars protagonist Lightning McQueen. People have been asking for him too. And it is starting to make sense that not all characters can be added to the game. Some of them don’t fit with the timeline. If they don’t fit with the timeline, they’re not going to be added. Then there are badges that represent IPs that are easy to access like Oliver and Company, the Rescuers, the Gummi Bears, Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series etc. But just don’t share datamining info if I think a character is likely to be data mined.
