Well, would be weird if they decided to go another way, especially considering that the characters need to be unlocked.
They did say all our content will be saved when the game relaunches
They did, I understand, but it still will be frustrating not to see acquired content at launch.
Yeah and we still haven’t gotten a trailer for the relaunch and it irritates me that the game won’t be out until May 28th and that doesn’t sound like early 2024 because it sounds a lot like mid 2024 also Zuko from Avatar The Last Airbender will be in Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2

I figure that we don’t see alot of action in this thread. I thought I spice it up a little bit. With @Ozi_swag permission, I look like to bring links of Super Smash Bros/Playstation All Stars/Punch Time Explosion/Nickelodeon All Star Braw/Multiversus themed Death Battles that have been made in the past.
Here’s how this work, I will announced a death battle every Friday, sharing a little about them as what of they are capable of. The poll will close on Monday morning and the link to the battle will be made so can see the results.
In celebration with Zuko’s inclusion to the game. I thought I would start with his battle with My Hero Academia Icy-Hot hero Shoto Todoroki

Zuko was born into the family of the Fire Nation’s royals, disdained by his father, Fire Lord Ozai, and the object of his sister Azula’s manipulation, ridicule, and deception. Zuko was banished from his home and stripped of his birthright after an act of insubordination to his abusive father, who punished him by giving a burn scar on the left side of his face. He then spent years searching the world for the one person that would win him back his honor: the Avatar, which he found in the form of the young Aang. Shoto Todoroki
Shoto Todoroki was born the youngest son to Japan’s Number Two hero, Enji Todoroki, also known as Endeavor, who possessed the Hellflame Quirk and had an obsession with surpassing All Might, the Number One hero. It got to the point where Endeavor had forced a Quirk Marriage upon Rei Todoroki, who had the Frost Quirk, in order to conceive a child strong enough to surpass All Might. None of Endeavor’s children were able to live up to this standard, until Shoto was born and became known as his “masterpiece”.
At such a young age, Shoto was subjected to brutal training, with both him and his mother suffering abuse from Enji. This resulted in Rei becoming mentally unstable and throwing a kettle of boiling water at Shoto because he reminded her too much of her husband, the injury leaving a burn scar across his left eye. Despite having the ideal Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk Endeavor was looking for, Shoto refused to use the fire abilities he had inherited from his father in order to spite him. Despite his rough upbringing, Shoto eventually became a student at U.A. High School, where during a match at the U.A. Sports Festival against Izuku Midoriya, he was taught by his opponent that his powers are his own, not his father’s, leading him to recall the true reason he wanted to become a hero in the first place. Now, Shoto aims to be a hero in his own right and is removed from the shadow of his father, who would soon become inspired by his son.

This week, in honor of the Joker getting into Multiversus. I will show the death battle between him and Twisted Metal’s Marcus Kane AKA Sweet Tooth.

These are just three possible identities to Gotham City’s ultimate criminal mastermind with a past seemingly lost to eternity, the man known only as the Joker. Even to him, his past is an enigma. All that is known is that he was originally a common crook who was part a plot to rob A.C.E. Chemicals. During the raid, he encountered the vigilante Batman and jumped into a vat of chemicals to escape. While he avoided capture, the chemicals permanently bleached his skin white, lips red, and hair green, giving him the appearance of a clown. That experience has warped his mind, transforming the once poor man into an irredeemable, psychotic, clown-like murderer. Always with a sinister smile on his face, he wishes to spread his insanity to all around him, especially Batman and those he allies with, and prove that, to drive even the sanest man alive to lunacy, all it takes is one bad day.

Sweet Tooth
The backstory of Marcus Kane is somewhat of a mess, varying across instances. One of the most logical was that he was originally a normal happy man with a family and a good life as an ice cream vendor. However, Marcus harbored a secret deep within his psyche, a darker, more murderous part that lived in his mind he dubbed as “Needles”. He fought, tooth and nail, to gain control until the alt finally erased Marcus from his mind. Creating a mask and donning a head of fire, the newly-born Needles Kane would begin his streak of mass murder. This aspect remains consistent, up to refitting his ice cream truck into the infamous death machine known as the “Sweet Tooth”, which would misconceptually be used as Needles’ nickname. Nevertheless, the vehicle would be Needles’ key to victory in the infamous Twisted Metal contests, in order to get a wish from the ominous Calypso.
