So I have no idea how many people noticed: There is a pattern to friendships:
Each hero gets 2 disks and gives 2. Now randomly a few characters gave 3 disks and eventually they went back and heroes started giving third disks. They would have several heroes from 1 update give third disks and before finishing all of them would start using ones from the next update. I have a list of heroes who still have disks to give and get:

So when updating it for 1.9.2 (Polaris put the friendships in the Patch notes this time for some reason) I realized something.
MERIDA GAVE A 4TH DISK! This changes so much! Now any characters in the next update could have a friendship with any of the previous characters (Except of course Merida)!
