Animal busts out a drum solo, increasing his allies’ attack speed and granting allies bonus basic damage.

Blast Beats
Animal beats his drums, sending out a shockwave dealing damage and knocking back the closest enemies in an area.

Tempo Tantrum
Animal devours his cymbal which cleanses himself of all debuffs and heals himself.

dialogue_miss_piggy

Miss Piggy is a front-line “Damage” hero. Miss Piggy will be available in the Elite Campaign on S1-S13.

Hi-Ya!
Miss Piggy chops, punches, and kicks enemies in front of her, dealing damage per hit and knocking them back.

It is Moi

Hands Off!

Power Punch
Miss Piggy’s basic attacks and “Hi-Ya!” deal bonus damage equal to a percentage of her target’s max HP.

Friendships

  • Miss Piggy and Queen of Hearts
  • Miss Piggy and Gaston

Red Skills

With this update, we’re releasing a beta version of red skills. They’ll be released on Server 1. You can read about them here.

With 1.12.2 the following heroes will have a red skill

Emperor Zurg

While Emperor Zurg is channeling “Ion Blaster”, he deals more damage per shot. This damage increases with each shot up to a maximum until he is interrupted.

Kevin Flynn

“Power Cleanse” now extends the duration of all active buffs on allies by x seconds. While an ally is shielded by “Data Shield”, the timers on their buffs are paused until the shield is removed.

Aladdin

Aladdin blocks all disables longer than X seconds from affecting him.

Jack Skellington

If Jack or any of his allies scare an enemy who is already scared, the enemy takes damage. Jack’s basic attacks also scare enemies for a few seconds.

Duke Caboom

“Stunt Spectacular" deals more damage.

Huey Dewey Louie

Each time an enemy is damaged by a bear trap, they lose basic damage and armor. This can stack up to x times.

Miss Piggy

Each time Miss Piggy deals damage to an enemy, she gains a percent of the damage dealt back as HP.

Animal

“In the Groove” also slows enemies’ movement speed. While “In the Groove” is active, Animal’s and his allies’ first few basic attacks knock enemies back a short distance.

  • Fixed a bug where friendships were sometimes disappearing after unlock requirements were met.
  • Fixed a bug where Yax caused Jafar’s whirlwind to blow in the wrong direction, ending up only hitting closest enemy.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players who hop between guilds to defeat Guild Bosses to gain revives and power-ups.

Wow, very quiet, which is unusual for Patch notes…

@Polaris Any changes to heroes in the various shops?

I assumed there was some kind of “no reply” feature on since there were no replies before this.

With regards the Muppets, I am super excited. This is everything I didn’t know I wanted until just now

I’m not as hyped in terms of new characters but overall it seems it will be a good update. Hopefully they have better luck with approval this time around however.

I’m going to point the 2 elephants in the room @Polaris :

1° Where is the Jafar changes you promised us in this update?

2° Don’t you think that the Red Skill is not well designed? I mean if we want to unlock it we need to play the Epic difficult in city watch BUT to play it we need a Red Skill unlocked which create a loophole that makes the feature unplayable unless you somehow get the materials to unlock a red skill through IAP.

Apart of that some things:

1° Thanks for the Muppets.
2° The new guild perk that makes the drops more useful is going to be released soon?
3° What happened with the project of the costumes? We will still get some new ones?
4° We will see some new collections?
5° The guild shop is still in progress or was scrapped?

@Winterbotton So I can answer one of those questions. You do not need a red skill to do the epic city watch. You need red heroes in order to do that difficulty. Only red heroes are allowed to go into that difficulty to unlock the pieces for the red skills. Hope that helps some.

I’m excited for Joy and Anger in server 16.

Ah yes, it’s nice that you chose to release two heroes from a different franchise when you said a couple of updates ago that you were planning to release another character since she was quote unquote, “close to being finished.” Does the name Kim Possible ring any bells?

And why why why why did you have to implement Red Skills? How the game plays already is fine; Red Skills will just muck everything up.

And like everybody keeps saying, PLEASE stop increasing the level caps; at the very least don’t do them back to back to give players some breathing space.

What are you gonna do after Red, huh? Pink? Yellow? Black? Cyan like Dragon Soul? You gonna keep adding skills until heroes have more than 6 skills? Are we gonna be level 200 in a year or two? How loud and how long does the fanbase have to be until you realize enough is enough?

A couple of additions to the patch notes above.

  • We adjusted Jafar’s Memory Disk, Pin It To Me, to reduce the damage buff from 5% to 3%, and slightly reduced the amount of HP and Skill Power granted by the Disk. This should bring him more in balance with the other heroes in the game.
  • With the addition of a new difficulty in City Watch, we’re adjusting the lineup selection to pull from Coliseum teams rather than Arena teams. This will give more variety to the lineups you’ll see appearing in City Watch. This change will apply with the 1.12.2 update, and affects all difficulties of City Watch.

Sorry these were missed in the original publication!

YES!!! WOOOOOHOHAEFGFDHFGHJYAYAYAYYY !!!

!!!

i’ll assume you’re aware of how long that has been one of the top requested things across all games.

thanks :’)

that will make city watch SO MUCH MORE FUN and a bit easier too

<-- happy boy here now despite everything else

Nice update, original choice for characters. Idea of another skill should work like a “buff” for older heroes, like Zurg’s damage will be even more ridiculous now. The thing that annoys me is that those skills will be only avaible to a restricted amount of players, increasing even more the difference between F2P and whales. Imo, if they were “orange skills”, instead of red, they would have been much more useful.

Don’t get too excited, I like probably others use my arena team in my coliseum team so where’s the difference?

They have to have a red skill Available to be unlocked to take part in that city watch

You’ll see the difference, hopefully. Those meta teams might still pop up sometimes but it will mix it up a lot  many don’t use their Arena team in a Coli line to spread out their meta heroes a bit, so between those who do but have 2 additional lines, and those who don’t and have 3 totally different lines, there should be a whole ton more variation.

“We adjusted Jafar’s Memory Disk, Pin It To Me, to reduce the damage buff from 5% to 3%, and slightly reduced the amount of HP and Skill Power granted by the Disk. This should bring him more in balance with the other heroes in the game.”

So all this goes is reduce the damage bonus from 25 to 15 percent at 5 stars? This does NOTHING to address the problem which is whirling dirvish is too powerful and when used at the beginning of the round, as the scar disc does, causes devastating damage to the enemy team with almost no counters. The yax bug was a counter but its being fixed. This does so much damage that no amount of shield heroes can protect against it. Have a look at arena, coliseum, and war lineups. It’s Jafar all the way down!

I agree, this adjustment does not sound like it will be enough to bring Jafar in line with other heroes - I suspect that he’ll still be dominating the meta just the same with his Whirling Dervish / Scar Disk.

We shall see :man_shrugging:

All people will do is replace yax with goofy using his Jesse disc which gives 200 percent damage to blinded enemies. Whirling dirvish ticks 4 times and blinds on the first tick, so even the first cast will see 200 percent more damage on the last 3 ticks.

I think you are just confused on this.

So there are team comps that survive this very well. I have seen 3 different ones. I only have the power to barely get one of the teams up to speed myself, but it works really well. I think this extra 10% will help.
