Also want to mention - there’s no way last 2 week’s bots were at their previous difficulty. Something has been wrong, they seem a lot more difficult than that. If players were catching up or totally maxed out is irrelevant, nobody can do anything past about bot level 220…

…but if making the bots easy again fixes it, then fine :man_shrugging:

Many bugs have been improved and I think it is a very good update.
However, I am a server 17, but I feel that there are fewer heroes added than other servers.

Love this update! New characters look awesome. Hoping they will be powerful, but not OP. Jafar’s rebalancing was needed, without it even sounding like a nerf. I mean, his charm may be scary now, but at least he won’t wipe out teams like nothing (hopefully🙃). I’m still hoping for a balance for more heroes (both buffs and nerfs, depebding on the character), especially D&B, in the future. Bc I think Jafar (Sc), Goofy (Je) and D&B together will still wipe out teams easily, due to the lazer’s already insane damage being much higher against blinded characters.

Oh my gosh, I made a Merlin concept with a very similar “Transformation based on enemy role” gimmick to the one Madam Mim has! I know they probably came up with the concept independently but it still feels like I inspired it, it’s beautiful.

Oh. Since Gonzo is the blue team and Madam mim is in the yellow team, I guess Yzma might be in red.

What do you get when you send xp & gold to guild mates? There is some quest?

Is everyone glossing right over this one? I mean, she’s an exclusive crate exclusive character. There’s a thread detailing just how much money (upwards of $1200 US) it costs just to get her to 5-6 stars. Now on top of that you need another 200 chips to unlock a red skill for a brand new character.

I’m blown away. I can’t help but feel like this entire patch is damage control, used to cover up the nonsense that’s been occurring as of late. I’m glad the majority outcry seems to be that of “Weeee awesome!” but for myself, it’s more along the lines of “Are they serious? 3 more characters at once? There’s not enough resources to get the last 7 up to speed.”

I have no qualms about the cap raise or new badge levels, I never have. To complain about that is ridiculous to me. The game cannot grow and progress without an ever increasing cap.

However, to give a brand new character, who we cannot even hope to improve without spending half a month’s pay, a new red skill while 70+ other characters who the player-base already has developed go without, is very indicative of the direction this game is starting to take.

On the topic of those 70+ older characters, hero refreshes have slowed. There hasn’t been one since patch 1.12 (announced August 16), before that was 1.9.2 (announced May 10). Yet prior to those gaps, the refreshes happened, chronologically backwards, 1.9 (April 12), 1.8 (March 4) and the first one in patch 1.7.2 (February 8). Went from roughly a month each, to a 3 month gap. Hoping that’s not the new trend.

Then we have the Invasion Update (call it what it is, it’s a fix). Hard to get excited about an aspect of the game that has been crippled by weak rewards, being repaired so that it’s at least playable again. 2 weeks of broken led to a disinterest in the game mode for some.

Guild Aid, I get it. I just won’t see much use out of it. Most high-end guilds won’t I imagine.

New crate items, this is a step in the right direction. There needed to be ways to minimize the pool of characters you can pull.

Premium Stamina Items, I just see this as a way to manipulate players into using these as soon as they get them, rather than holding onto them for when they’re most useful (double drops, contests). It’s even in the description: …each time you buy more Premium Stamina… yada yada reset the timer on all your extra 10%! Expect to see stamina deals every day so the hoarding whales can keep those stamina-buffs up until the next Fortify the Network.

Ultimately, it’s getting tough to be hyped up about a patch when there’s still so many underlying problems.
