What is wrong with a uniformed Shang, though?
I think what Winterbotton means is that it is best for a character to be clothed if they are usually seen with clothes. Shang is in his uniform for almost the entire movie.

Why is that servers 1 thru 17 have to obtain Powerline using market currency? Whereas, servers 18-20 get them in elite campaign?? Seems a little unfair to treat your loyal and oldest players like cash cows…while newer servers have it easier! A+ PerBlue

I would like to say that in the future they could add uniformed shang as a costume (and first of all I know that they do not plan to add costumes to the game but I mean there may be a possibility that this will happen in the future)

Well in the song I’ll Make a Man Out of You he was mostly shirtless and the skill names are based on the lyrics.
Also I don’t mind having a shirtless Shang on my team

Here’s the thinking
#1. If mushu was in cameo for mulan and Shane for next month. He’s probably going the next Update.
And #2. If Ian Lightfoot and Barley Lightfoot was come to this game soon ether for next month or june. I’m happy for it.
Finally someone got it. In almost all media Shang is seeing with the uniform. This is the first time I saw him without his uniform. Which is weird, frankly.

The whole shirtless Shang debacle seems a bit silly. The way I see it is yes Shang wears his armor for the majority of the movie, however the most iconic moment in the movie is the song “I’ll make a man out of you”. Just as Mulan’s outfit is reminiscent of her bout versus Shan Yu in the climax of the movie. Although that in of itself may be a moot point since her outfit in game is similar to one she uses in the movie for when she is not Ping.
Regardless I can understand why this rendition of Shang is shirtless and he isn’t the first shirtless human character in the game. Aladdin is also that way and similarly Genie is. Then there is all of the different non human characters like those from Monsters Inc., Rex and D&B from Toy Story, etc.
On a side note in a bit of Disney Trivia related to Shang. The official covers of the song “I’ll make a man out of you” done in Mandarin and Cantonese (The two most common forms of Chinese language) is done by an actor not well known for their singing ability and known for his action sequences, Jackie Chan.

Wow as great as Mulan is I was really hoping you guys would add in Piglet because when I saw the Winnie the pooh characters being announced I found it weird how, the creators forgot Piglet
Aladdin isn’t (completely) shirtless. And none of them have nipples, which is what’s making everyone so uncomfortable.
