Update 2.3.01 Patch Notes

Alright, perfect timing for a Halloween month! I knew that was the big update I’ve been thinking about! Since there were only 3 characters from Tim Burton’s best film ever made, these 3 fellows is perfect for this month! I can’t wait for October 13, I can see it now! You know, I hope that Cap Increase Delay for Servers 21 and 22 last month due to that Solo Deal Error will help you all see that there ISN’T a need to increase it every single month.

Because of that delay, I now have more characters ready to he maxed out than ever before as opposed to just 4 or 5, and that was while also working on a BRAND NEW ONE. So I please ask that you consider slowing down cap increases as we all have CONSTANTLY requested for a very long time now. Listen to your players instead of being ignorant and stubborn.

With that out of the way, cool new character and I may consider using them.

I agree. The cap freeze was a perfect opportunity to catch up and get some new toons up. It’s proven that new toons are needed to keep game momentum but with three to four new toons a month it’s impossible to continue in growth and freshen up our Disney army at the same time. Using old toons day in and day out makes the game more boring than waiting a little longer than 28 days to advance.

There is one more option to not necessarily produce a cap raise (a chapter) every 4 weeks. Remodel the campaign to have 10 raid points instead of only 7.
34x7 raid points vs 34x10 raid points adds a lot of elite campaign spots for new characters. Thus no need to make a chapter month after month.

5-6 weeks needs to be the bare minimum for cap increases IMO.

Once every 40 days would be nice. And would make the change from 7 to 10 farmable spots justified.

10/7 = 40/28 = proposed time between caps/current time between caps

since there are currently 19 stages in campaign chapters, out of them 7 farmable with this logic:

1-N-N-2-N-N-3-N-N-4-N-N-5-N-N-6-N-N-7
where numbered is a farmable spot and N is non-farmable
it could be changed to:
1-N-2-N-3-N-4-N-5-N-6-N-7-N-8-N-9-N-10

therefore… old spots 3,5,7 would be turned into 4,7,10 with original 2,4,6 spots gone

Imho, I think cap raises are scaling pretty well, TL-wise. BUT badges are the real issue here. They cost too much stamina to farm. One of the oldest examples being this badge.

This badge is over 2 years old. And to cost this much?!

They require too many resources. PerBlue could either increase drop rates (by 100%) or reduce all stamina costs per raid by 2 stamina. Both options would significantly improve the balance between F2P and P2P.

Yeah, agree completely. TL is easy, ranks are the problem

I already said it.

Base Purple bits needed to 10 or 20 (from current 20, 30, 40 or 50).
Orange bits needed to 20 or 30 (from current 50, mostly).
Red bits needed to 30 or let them stay at 40.

But overall stamina does not need to be increased, the badges have to cost less to craft. Reducing the amount of bits is perfect.

Agree changing the resources to build badges is counters the cap raise complaint. The issue isn’t moving up five levels in 28 days. It’s resources. Something has to give is the ultimate point.
