Update 2.4.01 Patch Notes

Cheshire is fine because he ruins everyone’s day.
We have all blinked and missed our team being wiped.
Egalitarian disrupter.
I agree it’s no good if one character makes the game unfun for you. I have closed down the game couple of times in frustration myself at the power imbalances. In my journey I have faced roadblocks before him; Mr. I, Randall, Mulan, I get stronger and overcome. someday in the not too distant future a newb will pop on and say Cheshire is broken and stupid he should be nerfed! And there will be a chorus of “He is beatable - for a while he was OP but…”

Just remember the outrage that people felt for investing in a top notch character like Gizmo only for him to be “rebalanced.
Counters not nerfs.

Question:
Why is Bunsen and Beaker’s purple skill (immune to studies for first few seconds of each wave with a chance to fail at low level) regarded as OP but not T&P’s purple skill (immune to all crits, no time limit, chance to fail at low level) or Shank’s red skill (60% less damage from normal crits, no time limit, no chance to fail at low level)?
Don’t all these skills negate studies?

People don’t care about the crits. It’s the effects they apply. With Kim (Jo), studies slow. And studies make Max a formidable tank.

Also…

There is a time limit to the crit immunity

i changed my mind. Bnb didnt seems like op before i look at this patch notes at first sight. They just focused on countering about the characters who using studies like max, kim, pleakley. But it didn’t block the crit damages at all. So in my opinions, we should use the powerful characters who have highly crits like captain Amelia mulan, dash and etc

@Filadae_Djaq ah sorry my bad, the crit immunity is linked to hakuna matata.
So that is 10s time limit, and an additional 18s if you equip Stitch’s 5 star disk and reach 50% health.

What comes after R16 rank?

R17 of course

Studies guarantee crits. That’s why they do so much damage. Timon blocks crits. Blocking crits is the same as blocking studies.

Did you even read what djaq has wrote?

For some heroes, studies do more than just guarantee crits from normal damage attacks. E.g., studied enemies deal 85% less damage to Maximus (purple skill), have an 80% chance to have their debuffs blocked by Robin Hood (red skill), are slowed by up to 60% by Kim Possible (Joy disk), etc.

I think it’s a bit much to say that Robin, Kim, and others are now “trash” because of Dr. Honeydew & Beaker’s purple skill, but it does hurt them quite a bit. (And I was so looking forward to finally making room for Robin in my main teams…)

Yay Beaker :partying_face::partying_face::partying_face:

…not so soon, no one is going to use them from the very beginning…I guess, at least no character from shop crates(Tron not included, as he didn’t start there) was one of the arena mains

Imagine maxing Beaker’s green skill +160 and then red skill to deal extreme damage probably every three basic attacks😂
