I use him in basically every mode and he’s pretty good.
Here are his stats:
Didn’t we just get a new hero?
He’s a backline hero. Maximus has 700k under the same conditions. Just use support.
EDIT: Just checked, and Nick has ~130k at R0 2* lv155 (and I’m able to use him just fine). I think maybe you’re being a drama queen…
Honestly I’m just glad that some older heroes are getting some attention.
Yes, while his HP may seem a bit on the lower side he has this…
I’m pretty sure being able to heal 1M+ HP is pretty useful… plus Nick disk which can give up to a 100% chance to super crit studied enemies.
And yet they can’t save him from being so monumentally awful that literally no one uses him at any serious level.
I’ve been in Challengers Arena/Coli for about a year now. Never saw Robin Hood once. Not. Once.
Popularity doesn’t determine power…
This thread is not for discussing Robin Hood. Make a different thread for that.
Is Stitch lost?
We have to many heros already
We barely have anything
80% isn’t useable. The rotation of crates and other exclusive heroes is very slow.
Maybe here can be a solution in future with these polls… instead of just asking who does the community want as next fresh; @Polaris, @Leaf , etc can actually post their concepts of said polled toons to give more details on how they want to refresh said characters. Then people can have a more educated vote instead of just based on toon names only. If the refresh concept doesn’t sound good, people can choice not to vote on them.
Arguably the most popular refresh before Kim’s was done was the Queen of Hearts, a refresh that greatly reworked the character and elevated her from “no one has ever used her” to “situationally useful” (or better). Just before Kim, they refreshed Mad Madam Mim, an even more radical reworking which was done well enough that some people complained about her default transformation mode being changed back to crocodile to keep her useful in invasion. And with Kim, they had community feedback saying that she wasn’t doing enough damage, and that her control skills were useless because of hardy.
While the end result may not have been popular, it was extremely easy to predict.
Keeping Simba & Nala’s damage skills as Fantastic Damage is a missed opportunity in this refresh, but otherwise it looks to have potential. Simba’s opening charm, which is a major point of complaint, could be very useful against Ian and maybe Tron, both of whom I see at the back of the lineup far more often than Joy or Megara. If it didn’t cost so many resources to boost heroes up to where they’re usable, I’d be happy to level up Simba & Nala just to have another Ian counter.
Which is why Robin Hood was so widely used before the all-powerful study killer was foisted onto the game. Oh wait, no, he actually was almost never used before then, either.
Robin Hood’s refresh seems like it was pretty decent to me, tbh, just not enough to elevate him to A-tier levels. If his white skill worked more consistently (seems like nearly half the time, no one gets any HP from it, at least when I’m using him) and his red skill didn’t have that level requirement in it, he’d almost certainly be at least A-tier.
80% isn’t useable. The rotation of crates and other exclusive heroes is very slow.
If PerBlue suddenly dropped 30 new heroes in a month, the pool of usable heroes wouldn’t double to 60, it would stay right around 30 instead. And I’ll agree about the rotation, though I have to say it’s odd to see you complaining about it, since you want all the heroes to start off in Diamond Crates.
Oh wait, no, he actually was almost never used before then, either.
Not sure what servers yoy are talking… after refresh he was good.
and his red skill didn’t have that level requirement in it
Nothing is for free… here, pay and get, plus otherwise skill could stay at 1 and be just as fine as maxed.
The window after getting his amazing red skill and releasing Bunsen was very small, like… 4 weeks or so, Bunsen immediately shut down him, Kim and all other study heroes, later PB added Fear, Honey, Mr. Big and from before Hatter, this made all of them useless in meta as the counters were too strong for them, and John alone wasn’t enough to make them relevant again, and got stuck in A tier, never to see anything higher…
since you want all the heroes to start off in Diamond Crates.
Hahahaha—
PerBlue suddenly dropped 30 new heroes in a month,
No one… asked… for this number?!
Back to 5/6 like before was good enough, now it’s just 2, rarely 3, and it’s weird as with no other new modes, new heroes are only affective source of income from this game to PB, other than cap rise… but even then, after each rise some people leave.
both of whom I see at the back of the lineup far more often than Joy or Megara.
…
eh
Every time someone mentions about Robinhood’s refresh, I feel so mad AND sad. He was in the same poll with Quorra, who was nerfed multiple time to the point of being useless.
We had 1 chance to doing her justice and frankly, she had the potential to being useful. But noooo, people had to go to vote for Robinhood, who had a terrible skill set. Even after refresh! And now, he is nowhere to be seen
I don’t use Quorra. Not anymore. She is at R1 or R0 but still, I hope she would get back her glory one day.

Agreed. QoH is one of my main tank now and I can say she sure worth investing in
Hero Refresh for Simba & Nala!
Back to Simba and Nala’s refresh, the reason they are not popular is because of their skill set. They have nothing special or unique or even worth mentioning. And by the look of their refresh, I can say the same
I wonder who making these decision of refresh because it is either not a popular opinion from players nor some potential heroes… Someone at Perblue MUST like Simba and Nala A LOT
Bug Fixes
What about Surge reward bug which has been in the game for MONTHS now? It is super annoying. Are you guys ignoring it, @Polalris?
And why are ALL the anniversary updates the most disappointing??? We don’t want surprises! We want information!!!
We don’t want surprises! We want information!!!
I mean, something more than just a refresh for a hero most people barely remember exists would have been nice. :p
The 3rd anniversary is comeing. I can’t wait
I would hope too
like Simba and Nala A LOT
I like Simba and Nala a lot
What about Surge reward bug which has been in the game for MONTHS now?
That issue is under investigation still. We know that the timing on rewards has been off and the team is trying to track down why.
Why is this update called 3.0?
This is the major update that has all the anniversary goodies in it. When we were planning our roadmap we decided to release the update on the regular cadence rather than delay it a week. That builds in time for unexpected issues (bugs, approvals, app reviews, etc.). We don’t have another update planned before the anniversary celebration, so this is it!
I know you’re all looking for more details on the anniversary, and I’ll have that for you on Friday!
