But that’s stupid. Damage cap in Shatter will make two heroes bad— and of course, PB won’t give compensation.

Those two were added with the cap, Demona wasn’t unlockable until when they changed it.
Wasabi could be white with disk and that’s all, plus he is good in other modes—

Doesn´t ruin anyone. They will be the same in PvP.

If you only expect the new heroes only to make Invasion an utter joke, you have a sad life.

So what? :man_shrugging: Still %-based skills as Shatter and Mim.

I think we are going off-topic, take this to a different thread more suited for this argument…

EXACTLY!!! Hence why I want just a level limit instead for the Shatter damage to do the 8%

What would you consider proper compensation, then?

@Loutre I hope it is okey if I ask, but can I ask what is the issues in terms of Shego and Shatter?

We saw reports that players were able to use her in Invasion and she was able to beat all bots without power ups and without strong heroes and it appears Shatter might be the issue so right now it’s just being looked into.

… this is just worrying. How heroes are tested?


Just put the level cap like in Shego’s purple and done, issue gone.
And increase her damage in compensation. :upside_down_face:

It’s exactly what Musk said. Her green doesn’t have a level cap (fail) like her purple. Add it and then it’s good to go!

I assume that will be the solution, but can’t say for sure right now.

Can they just make power ups work on Red Skills so that other “good” combinations could be possible? There are other characters that could be effective based on Ref Skills, but aren’t because it never scales like the rest. Invasion is already pretty monotonous/boring as is. This could at least mix things up a little bit.

I see, so Shego isn’t the issue, but rather Shatter.

So if I take it right the issue is that Shatter let higher leveled characters do Shatter damage as well after Shego/Russell has applied Shatter, so if that’s the case adding a level restriction should help a lot.

In regards to Shatter otherwise and Invasion I think I recommend letting players have a way to easily clear Invasion if they want to, like being able to get through Invasion quickly is likely more fun for them rather than be stuck or use hours on finishing Invasion.
While players finishing Invasion fast may not be PerBlue’s intent, but not everyone enjoy spending hours on a mode, so I recommend there being a quick option as that should likely increase player enjoyment by not having to go through Invasion for hours and be bored.

So yeah, what is more important to you at PerBlue in the long run is up to you all at PerBlue, whether that be players and their enjoyment or quick money and players more likely to leave due to boredom from having to play Invasion for hours.

But yeah, beside that thanks for how well you handled the update errors yesterday, like regularly updating us on the situation and yeah really appreciated Loutre, so yeah thanks for the good work yesterday :-).

The issue is that the Shatter has no fail chance.

That means Shego with a Fantastic DoT dealer can kill the bot in 13 seconds. (8% x 13 is over 100%)
You only need to deal 1 Fantastic Damage (or DoT with just 1 Fantastic Damage per second) to trigger Shatter and deal 8% of Bot´s HP.

What ever you do it better still mean Shego will be good in blue invasion. I have waited for ever for a good quick fight blue team.

If the change has affected this then I’m outta this game.

Even the best quick fight blue team should fail at some point. As should red and yellow.

Seems like your wish is coming true with a nerf for Mim and Shatter to have a damage limit… welp I guess Yellow and Blue invasion will now be pointless to even try anymore :roll_eyes:

No, it will change the staleness in Invasions that is currently placed. It´s all over the same and people are lazy. With a Shatter/Mim % skills damage cap people will have to be creative again.
And we know that the audience will find something new… potentially broken anyway.
