Aladdin’s my favorite hero and I definitely want him to be a part of the team, but I’m not sure who else to pick to make a good team

Well… I don’t use him and never see him so not really sure, sorry.
But I can tell Aladdin is very frail and needs a lot of protection, so I’d start from that

I’d partner him with Wasabi, Slinky, Kermit, and Disgust.
So the team will actually still work after Aladdin does precisely nothing and dies immediately.

They’ll both just end up doing several times his damage instead.
Aladdin is a very good candidate for Absolute Worst Hero in the Game status.

There were times when Aladdin used to be great with Merlin and Barbossa, but I’m not sure that this combo will work today, when almost anyone has at least some evasion.

I suspect @Kamryn_I is at a stage in the game where that trio is still viable. Add in Jim Hawkins and Beast, and it might perform decently even against some of the meta teams of comparable level. Of course, the important thing is to get Barbossa’s Tia Dalma friendship disk and get as many stars on it as quickly as possible.
honestly, in this game you don’t choose heroes you like, because it’s difficult, since over time the heroes get weaker, since the new ones are always stronger

Not always, there are some exceptions, the newest one is Fairy Godmother.
It’s easier than you think, all you need is time.
there are really exceptions, but there are very few, and there are really old characters that can be used, but I don’t think it’s worth investing so much in them, as the better heroes that don’t need you so much “time”
