Would You Like a Disney Junior Character?

Honestly, you don’t have anything to apologize for. It’s a difference of opinion, mostly. I’d say that there’s been a few replies here that were unjustly rude to you. :man_shrugging:

I appreciate your help and optimism. But let’s face it, were in a losing battle at this point.

I enjoyed it.

2 aren’t everyone either

Ultimately, the decision is up to the Devs.
Or Disney if they decide to say “Disney Heroes needs Sofia and Elena characters.”
While they may acknowledge the players’ input, I doubt they’re going to listen to those who are being overly objectionable out of pretty spite/resentment.

The main factor I see working against the inclusion of these characters is that both shows (three if we count Doc McStuffins) ended, so incorporating content from shows no longer in production will yield no benefits in terms of promotional activity.
I assume at some level, this game is intended to keep certain characters/franchises acknowledged, even if only in a small way.

And I know for a fact there is an entire wikia dedicated to Sofia the First, the odds of all the contributors not being adults are so improbable as to be unrealistic.
At the very minimum, the moderation team has to be adults.
Also, wikia rules state the minimum age to hold a wikia account is 13, so they’re not children at least.

Okay, so let’s follow this logic train to the end station:
Disney Junior characters are not allowed, therefore Mickey, Goofy and Donald have to be deleted from the game because they appeared in Mickey and the Roadster Racers, a Disney Junior show.
And who is next? Winnie the Pooh and Tigger?

Wait a minute? Wait a minute!?! Of course! @Tilarta just reminded us of little detail in the game and it was staring us all in the face this whole time.

WINNIE THE STINKIN’ POOH!!!

He the most harmless, most kid-friendly character in game. No! Scratch that. In the entire Disney Animated Canon. He would not do anything, repeat, ANYTHING to hurt anyone.

And yet, Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore are in the game and maybe more Pooh characters are on the way. So, if someone like Pooh can get into the game, anyone is possible.

Well, Winnie the Pooh didn’t originate in a Disney Junior show

Only the bees hurt the enemies, Pooh just eats his honey in the game

You’ve missed the point entirely and are fighting against an argument that doesn’t exist. Pooh is a classic, beloved character; pretty much everyone knows him, even if they didn’t grow up on him. Combat capabilities are irrelevant.

The other shows, however, are very recent. They don’t have as much of a following, the majority of which are too young. But most importantly of all, it’s much less likely that PB’s devs have watched and are fans of the series. And as they have said many times in Q&As, they add characters they like or that are popularly requested.

Mickey Mouse, Donald, Goofy, etc are liked by people of all ages which is why they aren’t childish. Even though some teens/adults may like Disney Junior characters, that doesn’t represent a majority of this group. It’s the same with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, etc, they’re liked by many people of all ages.

I think we have seen that Pooh will do anything to protect his friends.

In the Winnie the Pooh movie, Pooh and friends made a giant hole since they thought Christopher Robin was in danger from the Backson.

And in the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, when he heard Tigger he pulled out a cute toy gun to protect himself with.

Also removing Pooh?

That is a sure fire way to get PB to make me delete the game forever no matter what!

And people aren’t saying no to Disney Junior for petty resentment. Where do you read resentment in our posts lol? We’re just saying most people that play the game wouldn’t recognize Disney Junior characters.

And Pooh and friends have had movies outside of Disney Junior.

Also, not any character is possible since while there may be badges to certain franchises, adding a character from a franchise is much harder.

Look, your all missing the point. What i’m trying to say is it’s dosen’t matter where there from. I believe that every Disney character, kid-friendly or not, has an equal shot at getting in the game.

What’s it going to take for you to see what i see?

So you think Doc McStuffins is just as likely as Anna or Kermit are to be added?

De-age me 10 years, give or take, and I might be just as eager to have Disney Jr characters added.

sigh I give up. I tried everything to get you to see the value in some of these character like i do. I tried to make you understand that some of these character are just as special as any of the characters on the roster and have a fighting chance of getting in even if it’s slim.

But i guess you don’t :disappointed:

Skimmed the thread again, it seems 50% of it is petty resentment.
“Nobody knows whose these characters are”, implying they’re unknown to anyone over the age of 5-7.

Powerline is a known character?
I am sorry, I can’t take that seriously at all.
I had to search the internet a lot to find who he was, a minor background character in some movie I never watched.
And only that movie.

Kida is a lot more familiar to me, since I know her franchise well,
She actually got her own tv series, until Disney decided to cancel it with only the first few episodes produced (which were reformatted into a direct2DVD movie).

So I would said obscure is a matter of degrees, what someone else is very familiar with cause others to go “who is this unknown character?”.
But that is besides the point, the game would be enriched for adding extra characters, if there’s something from every franchise, then the game appeals to the general Disney fanbase.
They look for their favorites, find and use them.

@Mister_Toon
I don’t think they ever will see the value in these characters because they have a mental block Disney Junior=entertainment for the preschoolers.
Some of the characters identified as less childish I think are below Sofia’s level of maturity, so much so that I couldn’t stand watching their shows for even a few minutes without wanting to watch something else.

What about some PJ Mask heroes

PJ Masks is not as good as Sofia, but almost a close second.
I watched some of the show episode and enjoyed them.
Plus, it would be fun to have An Yu (we can always use more dragons!) and Armadylan ingame.
With Gecko, Owlette and Catboy, that’s a full collection.

If you wish to make an argument for why a character should be in game, I recommend starting off by doing so rather than asking for everyone’s opinions and then tryingto argue as to why their opinions are wrong.

I’ll say this for Disney Junior characters. They prolly have as much a chance to come as Edna Mode.

Now make the same judgement for Yax and Finnick :unamused:
