- I think Mrs. Potts is a little too old to be a mother to a minor
- The Beast would have to be a human in order to be a dad, so…

Actually people think that Chip is the Beast’s son, but when the curse was cast and the Beast didn’t want his son to see him like this and gave him to Mrs. Potts or something like that
