it’s an effect in heist shared by a number of heroes with passive abilities, where said abilities activate even if the hero is not actually called to the battle

For some reason, when fighting Mr Big with Ariel, after being taken away by his limo, Ariel will NEVER be back in fight again 
and no, she is still alive… somewhere

I tried this but she came back and when her freeze wore off she didn’t do anything for rest of fight

Mine never after that Mr.Big takes Slinky away and Slinky comes back but not Ariel where is she? Looking for Prince Philip?
