I think the stamina buy change is the reason. When you couldn’t buy as much, the cost was around 3M. You could even say it’s somewhat generous since… stamina buys are 30x higher, the cost is onlt 6x higher for trial events.
But since they were always heavily inflated…
Last time costumes were introduced, they was put in contest as rewards. And even though slowly, not as quickly as P2P, we F2P could still earn enough threads (was it the name) to unlock costumes
I thought it would be the same this time. Sadly, I was mistaken. I thought they finally care about us F2P but we all know how that turned out
It was same speed for everyone, 4 contests.
Including FTN contest, which was not doable for everyone at that time. After that, they were available in ranking rewards
@Polaris cannot be something done with the refresh price of Olaf´s Winter Adventure? It´s so abyssmal.
The stamina price is not a bug. When the team sets up the events they take a number of things into consideration, including (but not limited to) past participation and progress rates, the stamina inventory trends in the game, and what people have on hand. There’s a lot of spreadsheet magic involved in the analysis and projections for each event to make sure we hit our product goals that help us maintain the health and stability of the game.
We also like to acknowledge our spenders from time to time with exclusive rewards as a thank you for supporting the game. We appreciate everyone who plays Disney Heroes and the spenders are the people who keep the game running year after year.
17M per try and whole event costing $30 worth (over 5M consumables) of stamina is ridiculous no matter what.
What was the point of changing candance and new costumes if they are exclusively P2W.
Also rewards are really bad comparing to anything else.
but… the reward requires them to spend even more to actually get it? this doesn’t really acknowledge spenders, it’s just an attempt to extort them lol
sure, give everyone who’s VIP something or other some christmas cosmetic for their efforts and contributions. But locking such a gift (and a bunch of medicore bits and bobs) behind a massive paywall doesn’t seem very christmassy
Thanks for clarification.
I mean, if it gave the amounts of resources worth that $30 I wouldn’t say a word @Polaris.
But it clearly doesn’t and that’s kinda what’s bugging me. Cause purely technically with enough diamonds and a buy more stamina event it is SORT OF doable freely. But it’s just not worth doing.
Like can we at least know beforehand how much consumables a stage 17 gives (since that’s the one that’d be looted)?
that must be a reaction to everyone saying that Disk Power is one of the most in-demand resources in the game
… so naturally, PB have decided to drain Whale’s bank of it, before presumably releasing some expensive DP deals because they do actually need it for their heroes
Should have been mission speedups but eh.
This is thievery! I opened 5× and got only 3 items! And I spend over 60M DP for these stuff?
I can’t believe how game got insanely worse in matter of few weeks, starting in beginning of November…
I won’t be recommeding DHBM anymore to others, this is just bad.
41,000 Sapphire Credits, 41,000 Sapphire Credits, 4,100 Megabit Crates, 4,100 Megabit Crates, 41,000 Sapphire Credits.
What thievery? Tho I admit the “Top Prizes” isn’t even slightly clear @Polaris so it feels quite sketchy.
don’t we also need to specify the % chances for the crate drops for them to be considered ‘fair’? at least in the EU
Well it all has a problem with transparency, quite a bit.
First time they at least they showed exactly the drops. Now… hero chips appear in preview, but in description they are gone, all shady.
or Megabit Crates…
This gets me wondering… if we see there 40,000-200,000 (Sapphire) Credits, is it likely at any time to get exclusive crates for 10B per buy 1 and 45B per buy 5?
Or 4k Colossal XP Drinks per buy 1 and 18k Colossal XP Drinks per buy 5
But please, delete the Guild Trophies. That is like the worst imaginable reward, such a ridiculously offensive dropback.
Looks like a mistake in the more info. The crate does include hero chips and patch essence also. I’ve asked the team to update the description but keep an eye out for Pegasus, Negaduck, Sweetums, Rose, Bowler Hat Guy, Dante, and Kuzco chips.
