Last year, the amount if items going into the game every time players raid/promote/etc was significantly lower. As we made QoL changes to improve resource gains to scale properly, it has caused numerous performance issues that we’re working to rectify!

I’m sorry that you feel the game has gotten worse. We truly have been trying our best to balance game optimization and QoL.

IMO the resource balancing at the moment is pretty good, with a couple of notable expections being poor (megabits and patch essence). The stamina balancing has mostly done away with my previous concerns about keeping up with ranks as a minimal spender.

Aside from things like lag, Hero Balance is the big (huge! massive!) thing that’s currently making this a good game, rather than a great one. Player enjoyment won’t show up in any reports or metrics but really is crucial.

And Megabits are such a minor part of the game that their lack doesn’t really bother me. I would argue that the gold supply, while not at a crisis point, is a bit low, but that seems it should be really easy to address: allow all XP drinks to be sold, make the 200%/400%/800% surge bonuses more common, and reduce the cost of mercenaries (ideally to Numi’s suggestion of using the same calculations for their cost as the calculations for how much gold a surge district earns, although if even a 30-40% surcharge was tacked onto that cost I wouldn’t object).

Resources ain’t that bad for me, raiding to get resources is good for me as I never did a max raid until like two days ago

Plus with new upgrades to said heroes, it can be challenging at first but then I get used to it later on

I don’t care about Megabits either. They are useless and battle badges are the same. Contribute little to none effect to our heroes

What bothers me is the hero chip economy, especially for 2 and 3 star heroes. It hasn’t changed anything at all. We still earn like 3 to 5 chips per day and now we need more than 5k chips to max red skill. The math is horrible

Disk power is the worst by far
But yeah patch essence could use increases… and ig megabits too if they weren’t just useless

Patch Essence didn’t scale for months and months. Horrible for new players, but pb doesn’t care.

Disk power is even worse.

true, since this is one of the resources that working on more heroes doesn’t enable you to earn more of it. I don’t have much problem with it because I don’t have 200 heroes I want to max the disks of, but for someone who did, I can see that they would be sorely lacking it

Even maxing 50 or so disks is possibly impossible without money, and since nearly every new hero, and most of the best refreshed heroes, require a max-level disk to be at their best, it can certainly be a headache.

If you’re talking about the two one-time-only nodes in between each pair of main nodes not having any unique text, that’s an intentional change:

to me I like the little text in between the main story and it’s really dumb and I hope they reverse the change but don’t know one can hope
